"The Crown without the Conflict"
Tenzin - 9 days old |
Our sweet baby grandson Tenzin Christopher Rich passed away last evening, not long after prayers were asked for in his behalf. Apparently Heavenly Father has a different plan for him.
He lived a precious 11 days, and was a joy to his family, and was loved so much by his three big brothers and Mom and Dad.
The knowledge of his heart defect was sudden and serious, and in less than 24 hours he went from seemingly perfect health, to fighting for his life, and then passing quickly and unexpectedly back to his Father in heaven.
We know that the Plan of Happiness IS REAL, and that HE LIVES. There is life after death, thanks to our Savior, and we KNOW we will see him again. Please pray for our family, we need the comfort your prayers will bring.
Families are forever, all is well, Tenzin has received "The Crown without the Conflict".

Tenzin Christopher Rich
He has a name ! First day home - doing a little stretching. |
Of course you need to unwrap and inspect every little detail, right? |
Quite hairy - just like his daddy was. |
Grandma Shirlee is on diaper duty, with brother Thatcher checking things out. |
There are those eyes ! |
Peek-a-boo |
Okay - now get me some dinner ! *He's a great little nurser. All well in that department |

Baby "T"
BABY "T" arrived at 7:37 pm He was 7 pounds 6 oz. (the biggest baby of them all) |
He had a little struggle breathing, so they helped up out for about 30 minutes with a mask like thing (not intubation). They slowly weaned him off it, and then continued to monitor. |
McKenzie was able to be there and help with everything. It's so great have a NURSE - our own personal one ! |
After about 2 hours, CJ was able to be wheeled in and finally got to hold him. Her smile says it all ! |
I made this up when Thatch and Pays were going to be born Roger, Gwen Ambure, Amanda, Zac, Landon Camryn, Treyson, Tagg |
Thatcher |
Payson |
Brightyn |
Baby "T" No name yet - they can't come to an agreement. Theron or Tenzen...... Or maybe something totally different !? We'll have to wait and see. |
Such an SWEETIE !! |

October Little Things (so far)
Fall is in the air, as we have had a couple of storms (no snow yet!) I love this time of year. |
Tagg finished up his football. They went to the playoffs, but lost in the first round. It was fun to support him and Treyson this year. Fall football is always fun. |
Pumpkin Pie shakes courtesy of Grandma Shirlee !! YUMMY !! |
Cam is still taking bass guitar lessons. I really want to hear her play ! |
Some of her friends. She is outgoing and fun to be around. |
Thatcher - after his dentist ordeal. The dentist tried to make his "grey" front tooth, not so grey, with marginal success. They gave him some liquid Valium, and he was pretty loopy - couldn't walk. |
Anna Lapoint and Treyson at her house. They are good friends. |
Payson and Brightyn picked out their pumpkins at Grandpa and Grandma D's. Brightyn wanted the baby ghost one for sure. |
"R" is for RICH !!! |
We found some MOSS next to the shop, and I picked it up and showed them how it felt like velvet. Then Payson informed me that this is what CARIBOU eat !! HE IS SO SMART !!! |
Ice Cream with SPRINKLES !!! |
This is the TREAT DU JOUR at Grandma D's |
Someone put this beautiful flower arrangement on my front porch. It is so beautiful :) Don't know who the donor was, but it is much appreciated ! |
Roger D and Lando I think they were talking BASEBALL (MLB) |
My favorite GUY ! |
We lit the burn pile on fire. There was a lot of construction waste, and boy did it burn. |
Grandma and Grandpa "D" |
CJ wasn't there, but Zac and the boys took the requisite picture. |
UNDER-DOGGIE !!! |
Landon brought the kiddies up. |
Thatcher flying in the fire. |
Grandpa Roger and Payson |
The rope swing has been touching the ground, so we looked at the base of the big limb that holds it, and it is giving way. We will probably cut it down soon, before it falls and hurts someone. |
Later in the day we took the kids to the Corn Maze in Deep Creek. It was a little bit of a let down :( |
The ground was SO bumpy, and it was really hard walking. |
Throwing rocks. |
These two are looking forward to Nightmare Ranch, and Staples Maze (in their yard) that are coming up next week. |
Also, the other night Treyson got his ARROW OF LIGHT ! We are so proud of him. He's now in Boy Scouts, and goes up to Tifie Ranch in his new ward. He is excited about this ! |
