Here's what's happening.......

Surprise visit at work !!
Such sweet little girlies.
Glad to have them come and see me.
Yard work - getting a trench reburied and sod back in place.
I think this was for the sewer line to the "barn"
Daddy Daycare.........
The only way to get them to pose nicely for THIS picture.........
was to tell them they could pull faces in the next pic.
Look at Bexlee (click on pic to see up close) - she's even getting in on the pulling a face action !
Bandit tangled with a porcupine.........
Memorial Day
Pretty flowers at the cemetery
Thatcher ran the weed-eater for a little bit, and they worked to get the Property all cleaned up.
I went with LuAnn down to Kanab, Utah (5 1/2 hour south) to see the Peay Family.  Josie's mission farewell was Sunday morning, and then we headed back home.  It was a nice little trip.
These boys have started golfing lessons
Thatch and Tagg went with Nana Daw and Grandpa Jim up to their lot near Lava Hot Springs.
On the way to gymnastics, Thatcher is the vacuum man !
Landon and Kacey's project for last weekend.
SUCCESS !!!
Teamwork made it happen.

Road Trip

We headed out at 8am, and our first stop was Evanston for what else?  Mickey D's breakfast of course :)  Kept heading east on I-80, over the 3 sisters, and taking the Mountain View exit, traveled south to Manila.

Drove around Manila, searching for THIS house.  I finally asked at a gas station, and they pointed me in the right direction.  Turns out, we would have found it anyway, because it was right on the road to Flaming Gorge Reservoir and Dam.  This is an old church which has been converted to a home, and is owned by one of my friends in Morgan.  Unfortunately we missed them with our impromptu visit.  Some guys working on the roof of the garage told us they were in Vernal.  We probably passed them, as we continued on our trip.

Dad and Mom probably haven't been here for 30-40 years.  We were happy to have them along to share our journey :)

Roger D and Me - he's a great guy to go along with my ideas :)

What a BEAUTIFUL sight.  It kind of reminds me of Lake Powell, with different mountains surrounding it.

We stopped at the overlook, and Ranger Station for lunch.  A quick bite of sandwich and Pepsi, and we were on our way again.

I have no recollection of this dam from my childhood memories.  We went to Flaming Gorge a few times, but I don't think I ever saw the dam before.

We continued south to Vernal, and then wrapped back around, Duchesne, Heber City, and on to home.  It was a beautiful sunny day until we reached Heber, and then it started to rain.

After 9 1/2 hours, and 420 miles we arrived home, tired but happy.  It was a great day!  Thanks for going Mom and Dad.

Ben & Lu?  It's your turn next time :)

Fun unexpected Road trip with the kids....

Can anyone guess where this parking lot is located?
It's about 67 miles SOUTH of Morgan

I rode with CJ and the boys, as they met someone to pick up a batting cage and pitching machine they purchased on KSL classifieds.  It was quite the load, and we were sure glad that the seller helped to load it up and tie it down.

Their favorite "treat" at this store - Circus Peanuts !!  YUCK !!!  The smell makes me gag.  Grossest  snack candy imaginable IMHO.  Well, any guesses on the store yet?  If you said CABELA'S you are right !

Then we moved on to another store that none of us had ever been in before.  This was closer to Morgan, on about 114th South.  Any guesses?

There is even a Ferris Wheel inside, and these two LOVED riding on it.

I pushed Thatch around  in this shopping cart while they rode the FW, and CJ shopped for Zac some much needed things for RAGNAR.....YES!! he is running in it !! Yahoo !!

He was fine as long as I kept moving :)

Guess the store yet?  It was SCHEELS

We caught a quick bite to eat at Mickey D's on our way home.  It was a fun day.

Temple Tripping :)

Peru Missionary Moms Forever ! - Me, Theresa Hyde & Debbie Wright

3-4 inches of snow of the ground !

Overcast, but beautiful !

Theresa's Sister Kendra and kids, Mattie, Kyra, Grayson, & Ethan.  What a CUTE little family.  They graciously let us stay at their home in Rigby.  Thanks again ! (Dave was busy watching BSU !!)

It warmed up, cleared up, and they were planting flowers around the temple grounds !  This temple was so busy, you needed an appointment !   What a wonderful two days we had.  Love you Theresa !!

Day @ Bear Lake

Almost on top of Monte - at the "parking lot".  We decided to take a break from riding in the car, and took a little walk.

At the summit at 9000 feet above sea level, there was still snow by the side of the road.

At Bear Lake we stopped for Pizza :)

At the entrance of Minnetoka Cave, the mosquitoes just about ate us alive !

Cutie Patootie Tagg :)

Treyson in side the cave.  The boys were real troopers, and walked without complaining the WHOLE way.

Afterwards we stopped at the North Shore, and the boys enjoyed the water.
