This trip has been great overall. My testimony has been renewed and reaffirmed. I am grateful to my sister for planning the trip and inviting me to go with her and her friend Denise. I am grateful to my ancestors who accepted the Gospel. I am grateful for my parents and their example. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and His Son. I love my family, and am so happy to be home (in about 4 hours). I have really missed them. I'm so happy that Manda and her family will be here soon, and we'll all be together again. Families are Forever!

Winter Quarter's Temple |
Landon and I attended this temple back in 2007 on a church history tour before his mission. It is adjacent to the cemetery where so many saints were buried during that terrible winter so long ago. The stained glass windows on this temple are spectacular.

More
Last night's pageant was great. As we were walking in, there were several families and individuals dressed in costumes greeting us. They had a 75th anniversary tent set up, where Erika picked up her pageant alumni badge. We met Elizabeth there, and she was so excited and happy about everything. She is a good lessen to me, about not becoming complacent about important things that matter.

Small world once more
As we were walking into Pageant who should we run into, but Calvin and Lynette Stephens and also Mable ?, a friend of Luann's, and Irene Dickson Workman, J. Burton Dickson's daughter, both who were on tour with Brother Stephens.
The Hinckley Window
President Hinckley wanted a clear window (we usually don't have clear windows in temples) so everyone could have a clear view of the Sacred Grove.
You can't tell in the pic, but the window in the very center is the one.
