Yup !   That's our Tagg !  Love it when he gets the Quarterback :) 

Such an exciting game last Friday Night at Bountiful High School.  Morgan, the defending 3A champions, and Bountiful, the defending 5 A champions met up.  
It was a great exciting game, that came down to the last seconds.
Morgan won 21 to 13
Tagg had an EXCELLENT game, and came away with the Trench Warrior Award from Morgan Sports Network.  He has the respect of his team mates and the coaches, that's for sure.

Can't remember if I mentioned that LuAnn had a new great grand-daughter named after her.  Meet Zu Zu Lu, Chans and Tausha's latest. 

I've been helping Roger out with the mowing since the boys have gone back to school.  This was probably a Wednesday, after River Cove.  Look at those steps and miles !!! 

Happy birthday to my friend Stacy, with flowers from mom's and my flower garden.  Also a WASP caught a ride on the flowers (I was holding in my hand while driving).  It was a good thing I didn't notice it until I had parked !!

I haven't bugged him all summer, but he's promised he'll get it done for Cam's upcoming wedding. 

Mom's raspberry crop hasn't been as good this year.  They didn't grow very high at all.

I made two pumpkin pies for the boys (while Zac and CJ were in Hawaii) 

Made a trip to the Assessor's office to visit, and Janell gave me an award I had won last December. Whooo Hoo !! 

Our sunflowers are growing so well :) 

 

What's new?

The new updated / expanded doggie room is coming along.......

They put up a Christmas tree in AZ for the first time in a LONG time......

Days at the park are WONDERFULLY cool

We had a ward dinner, and I helped with setup/takedown/delivery, and my own famous stuffing/dressing.  YUMMY  !!

The Rich Family Christmas Party at the Bowling alley was a success.  Zac and CJ and family (and us too) missed it because of wrestling in Wasatch.  Landon was super sick, but Kacey and kiddos went to represent :)

Zac and CJ and Thatcher went with Stan and Jennie to the Uintas to get a LIVE Christmas tree. 

Thatcher is doing well in MATH (Yahoo) 

Payson is too !! 

Treyson hurt his foot/ankle quite badly in the first round of the Wasatch Duels :(  They finally found out that it isn't broken (like it was when he was a Freshman) just a really bad sprain and torn ligaments.  He is to stay off it for a couple of weeks, start physical therapy, and hopefully will be back by January 5th for the Richardson Memorial.  Here is the match where it happened.

Makes this Grandma's heart swell.  These boys came over and watched the Youth presentation by Elder Gong last Sunday evening.  Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get BYU channel on my TV, so they braved through watching most of it on my little laptop screen.  LOVE THESE GUYS !

Finished Project !  WOW

I've been to the new Family Search near the Ogden Temple.  I was able to get my great grandfather's missionary journal scanned with my 2nd cousin.  Still working on getting it uploaded to Family Search. 

CJ displayed her fun creations at a boutique in the top of the Chicken Inn. She has so many cute things.

This landmark was torn down this morning

If only I would have had my VIDEO button going.   As they pulled the roof off,, the entire front brick face fell outwards on the lawn, spewing bricks out into and across the road.   It's a good thing cars weren't passing by or they would have been hit for sure.  They hurried and stopped traffic, and grabbed shovels, brooms, etc. and everyone pitched in to clean it up, and there was no problem.  Nothing like adding a little excitement !! 

Next  - a proud shout out to Camryn !!  She took 2nd place out of the ENTIRE 4TH GRADE on her poem entitled,  " I Am A Puddle"   The assignment was to take an inanimate object and make it human.  I think she did an AWESOME JOB !! 

Here she is, and the Evening of Excellence in Education night.  She was able to share it with all of her family.

Last week, Tagg had a Pop's night, and had fun singing with the rest of the Kindergarteners to their DADS..  Doesn't he look handsome ??

Zac ran a 30 K (18 miles approx.) last Saturday.  He took 2nd overall in his age/gender category for the Stider's Winter Racing Circuit, which was a 5K (3 miles) 10K (6 miles) 10 miler, Half Marathon (13 miles) and a 30K (18 miles) 

Treyson won his PINEWOOD DERBY !!
He raced multiple times, and never lost a race !

Whoops - this one was at a Catholic Church where they had gone to see one of their employees get married. 

It is so good to see pics - Gary and Carol (Kacey's parents) are over there now, and they are going to have a great two weeks visiting with the gang.  They are planning on visiting Hong Kong, and Disneyland, and Borocay Island Resort.  Hopefully we can get over there this fall.  

And earlier today we went to Treyson's FRIEND program (2nd grade)
It was GREAT.  He asked me about 10 times - Grandma, did you get that? on video ;)  
I told him I would POST IT ON THE BLOG!!!

No - not the white one..........he died..........by accident or ..............we don't know.  The the BLACK BUGGER has turned MEAN, and the last straw was when he bit little Thatcher THROUGH THE CORRAL FENCE !!!  His hours are numbered............ it should be interesting.

All we need to do is grab, chop, dip, pluck, eviscerate, and eat.........in that order............ since he weighs about 50 pounds........and we have never done anything like this before............   it should be ....interesting?
