Jazz Game

Roger and I, traveled with CJ, Treyson, Tagg, and Camryn to SLC to catch the Jazz agains the Wizards last Friday night.  We ate at Crown Burger on the corner of North Temple and 300 W.  We could have saved ourselves $10.00 if we had parked in the Crown Burger parking lot.  We only had to order at least $14.00 worth of food, which we did. We will remember this for NEXT time !
It was just a short walk south on 300 W, and we arrived here.............
No longer the Delta Center...........
No longer Energy Solutions Arena.....
Now - the Vivant Smart Home Arena - Home of the Jazz
Excitement was in the air !  So glad that Cam suggested that we do this.
We met Mr. and Mrs. Zuech from Morgan on our walk over, and she told us that the kids could go down near the floor, and watch the Jazz practice before the game, so we did.  Caught this cute picture there.
Our seats were in the upper bowl, on rows 8 and 9.
They were pretty good seats as far as the upper bowl goes.
When the game started, it was pretty exciting.  The Jazz Bear rode in on a motor cycle, flames shot from the top of each backboard, the music was exciting and uplifting.   The Jazz went on to win the game, 114 to 93.  Gordon Hayward was great, so was Booker.  They were my favorites.  The kids had a great time.  Grandpa kept them supplied with ice cream, drinks, and cotton candy.  It was a fun night !

Fun Times - Grandkids

The other night Landon and Kacey were able to go to the Jazz game as part of the Junior Jazz promotion.  The had a great time, and took a bunch of cute pics.
Kacey posted this on Facebook the other day.  I guess Brightyn is wanting to be just like Payson with his undies :)
Pics from AZ !!
Looks like someone is eating SUSHI !
These two are getting SO OLD !!
Cameron Claussen turns 13 tomorrow !!

I'm happy to see he's wearing the shirt we got him for Christmas.

Cam Schutt got braces on the top last month, and Cameron C. will get his on soon (if he hasn't already).  Cam may have hers on the bottom by now too - I'm not sure.
Such sweethearts - they love TUB TIME !!
Yesterday, Kacey took them to the Children's Treehouse Museum in Ogden.
The cowboy area is new to me since I last went, which was quite a few years ago with Camryn.

Ride em' Cow Girl !!

I guess Brightyn was quite worn out last night.....
Sleepy Girl
Kacey sent me this pic in a text last night.  It's so fun to get cute pics like this out of the blue !

More fun times

Landon and Kacey and kids got new family pics.
Didn't they turn out great ?
CJ and Zac took the kids to Stephen and Krystal Bybee's home on New Year's Day where they have a big ice skating rink.  They had so much fun.  This is Tagg.
Tagg also had the chance to go to the Jazz Game on Saturday night.
It was Jr. Jazz Night, and all the kids who played basketball got tickets.
He had a great time with his friends.

Check out the fun videos below from Saturday.

All Jazzed Up

Any guesses?

UP and OVER

Our train was supposed to be there at 5:12 according to the schedule

Everyone but me (taking pic) and Tagg, who wouldn't cooperate (silly kid)

The two little boys were sure excited :)

A little off the wall..........but excited :)

I messaged this pic to Landon, and he LOVED it.

FINALLY at 5:45 our train showed up...........we were about frozen.  It was so full, that none of us could sit together as we rode it to SLC.

After getting off the the NEW North Temple Station, I was totally turned around and mixed up, but we grabbed the TRAX greenline, and what do you know?  It dropped us off here............

On the first stop !!

We all got T-shirts and the boys got balloon swords !! Yippee !!

Payson is all smiles

Our 16th row seats were NOT in the lower bowl (haha) - CJ had kept that "small" fact from us.

Payson was such a good boy, and  Kacey is SUCH a trooper (and STRONG) carrying that big boy up and down the stairs, lifting over and over.........We all tried to help out where we could, but he wanted his mama most of the time.  Seriously, she is amazingly strong, even being 8 months prego !!

On the way back to the North Temple Station on Trax, was MUCH less crowded

When we got back there we had a little time to kill, and Treyson and Tagg met "Stickz", who invited them to help put on a drum show for the crowd.  He was a lifesaver, and kept the boys and others entertained.

Let's give it up for TAGG!!

Heading back home on Front Runner, we were all able to sit together, except Grandma and Grandpa D.  We arrived home in Morgan about 11:30.  It was a GREAT NIGHT.  Thanks CJ (and neighbor) for the tickets.  It was a night to remember :)
