Work and Play

We upgraded the sprinkler controller at the Property as a gift to Mom and Dad for Mother's Day/Father's Day and their birthdays............from Gwen and family, Erika and family and Mark and family. We had to put in new wire to handle the 24 zones..........many hands made light work.

Zac and the boys are moving dirt to the stalls behind their barn.
Hopefully they may get some steers soon.

Landon and Zac worked on Landon's fence. Poles are all in - Yahoo !!

Who and What am I, and Where am I from?

Mom and Dad took Ancestry DNA tests

If I was 50% (exactly) from each of them, here is what I'm made up of:

English/Wales/Northwestern Europe - 75%
Germanic Europe - 16%
Ireland/Scotland - 3 1/2 %
Norway - 3%
Sweden - 2 1/2 %

About what I figured ! All of the Sweden and Norway is from Dad, and his Peterson line.

A visit to AZ

Getting these two to SMILE for a picture is quite a feat !
It was lovely relaxing at Amanda and Bren's for the weekend.
We flew down Friday morning on Allegiant Airlines (which Roger works for)
It was a slick trip - Ogden airport is so much calmer and less crowded than SL, plus it's so CLOSE!
Getting the rental car there was a breeze also.

We all went in and got Cam a Ancestry DNA kit, so she can trace her roots (especially on her dad's side)
She was very happy and excited. Here she is (pretending) to spit in the tube.
Manda sent it off THIS morning for testing.
