Busy Busy Day

First thing - we took our caramels, cookies and brownies up to the fair to enter them.  Sure hope we get a blue ribbon !

Then we made up plates of goodies and took them around to others.

Stopped by to see the boys.............  Thatcher was just finishing up breakfast :)

Then we decided to wash Shady

It was alot of fun

When we put her back in the corral - this is the first thing she did !!

Then we decided to give Sam a bath too.  Grandpa Roger sure had his hands full.  We decided to leave Billy alone.

At this time we need to let you know that our sweet little BRICK died on Saturday morning (July 27th).  This picture was taken on the previous Sunday (21st).  He had been acting strange for about a week.  We think it may have been an digestive issue?  We feel bad about this, and will miss him.

Jim Wiscombe stopped by, and Camryn visited with his dog, Shamus.

We decided to make it a CRAFT DAY.  Camryn painted, and I burned wood for a sign that says, GRANDPA'S FARM.  All went well until the wind came up, and blew the magnet board over on us !

We went for a ride and got an ice cream as Steph's using their new DRIVE THRU :)  Then we went to the cemetery, and Cam and I walked from the top level down to the steps at the bottom.  I told her about how when I was a little girl, we always used to "run to the steps", and mom and dad would pick us up there.

We were driving home and who should we see?  BLAKELEY!! (and Rylee).  We ended up meeting them at the spash pad.

After, Blakeley came home with us and they had a great time - SWINGING..........

JUMPING>>>>>>>>>>>

WOW !!

Visiting the animals

Played in the barn

Hung out..........

Literally :)

Watched Shady get her hooves trimmed

And just before bed, we brought the magnet board back in the house, and I had Cam stand in front of her great paint job for a photo op :)   Also - if you are keeping track..............this is her FOURTH outfit for the day (haha) Gotta love her :)

Birthdays

Cam and I met mom and dad and all of MY aunts and uncles down at Chuck-A-Rama for lunch.  This was to celebrate my Dad's 76th birthday.  It was fun to explain to Cam about aunts, uncles (Zac, Landon, CJ, Kacey)  and greats (Joni, Linda, Mark and Erika)  and great greats (which were the ones she met yesterday).  Aunt Barbara, Aunt Maisie, Aunt Dixie and Uncle Paul, and Uncle Norris and Aunt Pam and Lori were there, along with my mom and dad.   Afterward we went to Walmart to get photos developed, and then we took them up to the fair to get them entered.  Be sure and look for Cam's and my photographs at the fair !!

It was also Roger D.'s B-day (the big 55).  Later last night, Zac and CJ and the boys showed up and brought Roger D. his favorite ice cream (Burnt Almond Fudge),  Dill Pickle chips, Regular chips with Dill Pickle Dip, and chocolate covered peanuts, and a 2 liter of Pepsi.   We all had an enjoyable evening on the back patio.  Grandpa and Grandma Ben came over also.

They played a mean game of 4-square

I'm going to entitle this one - THREE BOYS ON A FENCE..........  Thatch thinks he is just as big as his brothers.
CJ giving Rog an AWKWARD HUG :)

Even later last night, Cam and I worked on BROWNIES, CARAMELS, and APPLESAUCE COOKIES to enter in the fair.

Lazy Day

Camryn Schutt - makeup artist extraordinnaire

Hard to improve THIS OLD MUG :)

Camalama

It's not very often she lets me mess with her hair, but we pretended she was getting married, and did her up with many beautiful braids.

She is a SPLITTER !

Grandpa asked her if she could pick her nose with her toes :)

Grandpa Roger is 55 years old today.   Here he is eating a spaghetti dinner, and also a PIE and SALAD that Camryn made him from PLAYDOH :)

We took Camryn over to the property and let her ride the little orange 4-wheeler all by herself.  She is a natural !

Camryn with her Great Grandpa and Grandma Dickson aka "D"

Wow - a double rainbow !!

Right EYE - Left EYE - Both EYES - WEIRD GUY (girl) haha

PLAYDOH birthday cake for Grandpa Roger

And last but not least - sleeping on the trampoline with Grandma Gwen.  We lasted from 10:30 to 12:30 am, then Grandma got too cold and made me go in.

Morgan Valley Marathon - Yahoo !

We  had a great time supporting everyone who participated in the half marathon (Landon and Zac), and the 5K (everyone else).   Zac was 10th overall, and 2nd in his age category, coming in at 1 hour 33 minutes.  Landon was 107th overall, 12th in his age category, and came in at 1 hour and 58 minutes.   Kacey completed the 5K in 32 minutes, Camryn at 40 minutes, Treyson at 42 minutes, and Tagg and CJ at 46 minutes.  Way to go family !!
Payson was being held by his mom, and then he spotted Grandpa "D", and all he wanted was him :)

Cam and Treyson

Thatcher and Aunt Mackenzie

Zac and CJ and family - Great picture !

This was Cam's FIRST 5K - she ran 3.2 miles in 40 minutes and has a beautiful shirt and medal to prove it !!  LOVE YOU CAM :)

Later that evening we saw the Fair Parade.  Of course the kids made a hauling on the candy :)
Back home, the kids enjoyed the trampoline.

Poor Thatcher - he's starting to feel left out.  The older he gets, the bigger he thinks he is.
