Fantastic FOURTH

Zac and Treyson ran in the 5K.  Treyson completed it in 36 minutes !

After the Kid's "K" - I guess we've got a RUNNING FAMILY !  Just wait till the Fair Races....... Zac and Landon are running the half marathon, and Gwen, CJ, Kacey, Treyson and Tagg? are running the 5K (hopefully Camryn too!)

Way to go Treyson - in the 12 and under category :)

Waiting for the parade to start (in the shade)

The usual abundance of candy was thrown and scrambled for !

Our Crew

After the 5K, Kids K, Breakfast and Parade, we headed up to the property to have some lunch and fun...........or is that FUN and lunch?  Here Tagg and Grandma and Payson are getting rocks out of the ditch in a creative way :)

Water Fights !!  Brian and Colton v Treyson and Tagg, THEN  Gwen and Treyson v Brian, Colton and Tagg (I got SOAKED).  Payson and Grandma just tried to stay out of the way :)

He's a MANIAC

LOVE MY BABIES

Food was wonderful as usual :)

Love my parents so much !  They have done so much for us, and it's because of them that we have this beautiful place to relax, work, enjoy, etc.

Aren't they the cutest ?

Zac reluctantly got in to take the boys down the creek.  It was actually better than the previous Saturday.  Those kids are getting to be quite the little fishes.
Of course Thatcher couldn't be left out !!

After we finished at the property we headed over to Zac and CJ's to watch the fireworks.

It is always so hard to wait until dark-thirty to set off the sparkling ones.

CJ made a Firecracker Cake (aka Pop-Rocks on Cool Whip)  It was delicious with the burnt almond ice cream, that she bought for all of us, even though she doesn't like that flavor :)

The boys had a great time setting off the fireworks, even though the "grand finale" didn't live up to it's size.  We  were also able to see the great fireworks the neighbors bought, and Turner's display from one street over.  It was a good thing we enjoyed all of those "neighborhood" displays, because...........

.......haha - the joke was on us !!  We couldn't even see the Morgan County fireworks, because the neighbor's TREES were in the way !!  Oh well, live and learn.   CJ and I will take the boys to the highschool next year :)
