The Book of Mormon = POWER

 I just wanted to take a minute to bear my testimony of the Book of Mormon.  

I love this book !  It is POWERFUL

Something POWERFUL happens when a child of God seeks to know more about Him and His Beloved Son. 

The full POWER of the gospel of Jesus Christ is contained in the Book of Mormon. PERIOD.

The truths of the Book of Mormon have the POWER to heal, comfort, restore, succor, strengthen, console, and cheer our souls.

My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon everyday, you will make better decisions - EVERY DAY.

I know this is true !   I love the Book of Mormon.  

Sunday - I'm loving life.

I slept in till almost 8 am this morning !  I told Roger, "I don't know what is worse.......... not being able to sleep or get a good night's sleep - or sleeping for so long that my back hurts!".  I walked from my house to mom's. I listened to Neal Maxwell's talk (For about the 12th time) again.  I love it so much.  Then came home and have fixed Mountain Dew Chicken  (it's in the oven).  We are meeting at the Property at 2pm for a family get together.  I'm so looking forward to this.  I'm so glad/happy/proud that we were able to can 80 quarts of tomato juice yesterday, and we'll plan to do salsa this coming week.   I love my life, and I love Roger, and my kids and grand kids.  They are all so special, and each their own person.  We are so blessed to be parents and grand parents.  I'm grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I love the Lord, and my Savior.  Life is so so Good.  

Tents - What if you can't hear?

This past week, we have been studying in Come Follow Me, about King Benjamin's speech. 
Recap:  King Benjamin had a high tower built, from which he would speak.  Everyone gathered with their families in their tents, with their tents facing the tower.  Of course there were many many people, and of course, there were no microphones..........so many could not hear.  

As you read further below - I did NOT write this, but it did appeal to me, very much.  I follow COMEFOLLOWMEDAILY on Instagram, this is where it is from.  

So.......if you ever find yourself in the back tent, not hearing, but trying to hear.......  that is what matters.  IF YOU ARE INTENTIONAL - that is what matters.
