October Happenings at the Rich Ranch

As part of the home football games, Zac is in charge of getting the football helmet blown up.  Here, Thatcher is helping him.

It was the Tenzin's birthday on the 18th.
He would have been 8 years old. 

11 days wasn't long enough :(

Oh what a fun time we had laughing over this picture.  If you were able to zoom in, you would see a drop of Pepsi......dribbling down her chin (haha)

Oh I love this girl :)  She's growing up so so fast. 

Zac came over to get Thatcher, so he could sleep at home.  He had school the next day, and needed to go to keep his grades up.

We had a list of fun things to do

Next day, I let the kids skip school, and we put up the Christmas tree  - no pics !? :(     Then we took the stuffed elephant with the Santa Hat up to Tenzin's grave. 

Headed to Classic Fun Center in Roy 

Payson won BIG on the basketball machine, and he shared his winnings with his sisters, what a GREAT SWEET brother. 

Crazy !!! 

We had such a good time, before heading back to Morgan for grilled cheese and tomato soup, then on to Kaley's house for a sleepover before she took them to Ogden.  Landon and Kacey had been in Key West Florida on a short vacation, and they got home early the next morning.

Except that I know we will have him again one day.

Whole and complete, 11 days old, perfect heart, no infections.

Happy Birthday - how can it be 4 years already?

Sweet Tenzin - The years may come, the Years may go, and time will pass it's true.
But Time will never change the LOVE within our hearts for YOU

We love and miss this sweet baby boy who would have turned 4 years old today.  

Who would you have been?  Which big brother would you have looked like?  Acted like? Talked like?

 

One day we will have you again sweet baby.  

A day remembered

7am - phone call, panic, what !?!? ambulance, worry

10am - hospital, reassurance, we can do this, so tiny, so still, worry, prayer

12 noon - worry, no word, where is the ultrasound tech?!?!, so tiny, so still, blessing

3pm - worsening, panic, prayers!!, life flight, worry, driving, reassuring

7pm - heart, operation, serious, fixable, worry, take a breath

9pm - unstable, crashing, trying, working, ...........gone, our angel baby

9:30 pm - phone call, NO !!?!?, reassuring, we can do this, everything will be okay

3 years ago today

It was a stormy day, and I took this picture as we heading down to the hospital.
I remember being overwhelmed at this little one's birth, and crying on the way down.  I don't know why, I never did this with any of my other grandchildren.  Maybe I knew something deep down inside would be special about this little one. 

So so sweet..................
