“If we keep no diary [journal], the path crumbles away behind us as our feet leave it; and days gone by are but little more than a blank, broken by a few distorted shadows. Life is all confined within the limits of to-day….”
Tagg and Treyson and Zac are doing chores for the Nolds. Whoever can do it, goes, and sometimes Roger D. helps out. Here they go, up the hill to get the horses hay.
Roger is find this Winter pretty boring. No snow, no pushing....... It would be nice if he could find something to occupy his time. The days are long. He doesn't sit down like this until evening. He must have had a hard day the day I took this picture, he's sound asleep.
Bright sent me this SELFIE from her IPOD. It's fun to text back and forth with the "littles"
Tiana had a birthday. Here she is with Lizzy and Ashley. She's still in Utah, not sure when she'll be headed back to New York. She's still teaching virtually.
This is so me ! Roger's cousin Val always posts such funny things on FB. I always get a chuckle :)
Landon is stepping it up at Crossfit. I think he told me he's lost 30 pounds in the last 6 months.
Here is my new office. It's in the back room, that we haven't used before. Janell helped me get it all fixed up. She's a decorator - I'm not. We were able to hire a new employee, so we made room out in the main office, and I moved to the back room. It's been nicer than I thought it would. I'm enjoying the ability to get things without interruptions.
Bright dressed up for 100 days of school...........and a 100 year old woman (haha). This is something all first graders do. I should see if I can find pictures of all my grandkids over the years. :)
Can't remember if I showed this before, but Treyson has a new look in his room. Zac and Roger put up the slat boards, and also crown molding. Then light (that turn colors) behind the crown molding. He's got all of his guitars hung up (you can't see most of them in this picture). Also, to the left is the MURPHY bed that Zac built from a kit. He's getting pretty handy at that. This is his second one. It's nice to be able to close it up during the day for more room.
Here's a left over picture from Christmas. Grandma Shirlee got "jammies" for Santa and all his reindeer.
Also, she made these awesome levi quilts for the boys.
Landon also participated in a fundraiser for a fellow crossfitter with cancer. Everyone put dollars in each of the coaches bottles, and at the end of the fundraiser, they met on a Saturday and each coach had to do as many burpees, and there were dollars in their jar.............Landon must have been pretty popular, because he had over 1000 dollars in his jar - the most of any coach. YIKES !!!
Also, another surprise as the Rich Ranch in West Haven. Apparently the two bunnies were NOT the same sex..........and so it was a surprise when they discovered baby bunnies !!!
These are some of Tagg's creations in ART - he is quite the artist.
Now I think I'm all caught up.......at least for now. By the time you see this, I'll probably have MORE to report.
Tagg and Treyson in front of the Conference Center Theater (which is attached to the Conference Center). We picked them up a little early from school to beat the busses, and headed to SLC with CJ driving, me riding shotgun, Grandma Ben and Grandma D holding down the middle seats, and Tagg and Treyson in the rear (heads buried in their Ipads of course).
We walked through the sprinkling rain over through Temple Square, and down into the City Creek food court for dinner. Sbarros and Chick-filet filled us up, then it was back to Temple Sqaure to look around until it was SHOWTIME.
Quite a bit of excitement for a couple of Morgan Boys - hah
Not sure if these two had ever been up to see the Christus. Lots of questions, and peaceful setting.
Thanks Grandma Ben for taking the pic.
We had very good seating, and were seated pretty early, excited for the show to start.
Here is a short video of the Living Legends Tour when they went to New Zealand last year. If I'm not mistaken, that's Tiana, in the orange and blue. This is the Jingle Dance, each dress has tons of jingle (type) bells.
After the performance, the dancers come out into the foyer to mingle with the audience. Tiana looked so beautiful in her costuming. Treyson and Tagg (and all of us), LOVED LOVED LOVED the performance.
This tall guy was one of the hoop dancers, pretty awesome. Click here to see a short video of the Hoop Dance, can you spot him? He's the tallest one :)
With the EAGLE - a major part of the production.
And last but not least, a Moana lookalike - couldn't pass this pic up !
Thanks so much Tiana !
We loved being with you and your family, and seeing you perform.
The metal on the Outhouse is complete ! Boy, this has sure been an optimal winter to work on a building project. It's looking good !
The weather has warmed, and the creek is flowing once again.
Sure a different sight from last year ! Not only the building, but the amount of snow. I've heard the mountains are 100% of normal, so I say.......bring on Spring !
Later that night we went down to WSU to see Tiana perform in Living Legends. It was a great performance. She was in many dances, and was usually front and center. We are proud of her :) Aunt Maisie, Aunt Barbara, Cousin Diane, and a couple of her granddaughters were able to come also.
Blakeley came up for an hour while her mom taught Cross Fit. These two have fun together :)
What a Rodeo !?!?! We picked up Paris and France (Cam's names for the goats) from the Prescott's. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. They are sure cute :)
Thatcher was pretty chill around the dogs this time. Just as long as they didn't show their teeth up close !
We got the goats caught, home, and prepared the barnyard (one side) for them. Moved some logs over for them to jump on.
The kids tried to bribe them with alfalfa pellets........but they would have none of that. They are a little skittish, but we know they will warm up to us.
This kid is going to grow up and join the Circus !!
Later in the day we headed to SLC to see Tiana come home from her mission. Here, Cam and Erika are comparing heights. She's almost caught up to Kuk !
Brightyn and Grandma D
Erika got this cool banner !
Greeting Grandma and Grandpa. The first words from her mouth to Erika, "I wasn't ready to come home :**( "
Meeting Brightyn for the first time
Brightyn started doing this funny thing with her little tongue. I think she just discovered it !
Welcome Home Tiana ! (Colton photo bombing in the background)
Brian, Tiana, Colton Lance will see her in a couple of weeks when he comes home from California (Stanford)
