Sunday (2 weeks ago)

On our way to South Salt Lake for the Primary Children's Memorial, we stopped at the distribution center to see where Grandpa Roger works.   He gave us the dime tour.
The kids enjoyed it.
Of course we had to go see the dock where his friend had his accident in September 2015.
Then we headed down to Noah's reception center, where Primary Children's was sponsoring a memorial program/dinner for the families who had lost children at the hospital during 2016.  It was a nice program with wonderful music, and a slideshow with pictures acknowledging all of the 70+ kids (babies, toddlers, children, teens) who had passed from a myriad of (accidents, diseases, etc.).  One of the things that was said by the CEO was, "We are so sorry that our 100% was not enough".  They surely did give their 100% to Tenzin, but it was not enough.
After the program, and before the luncheon, they let 100 white doves loose to circle and fly above us.
On the way home, Thatcher rode with us.  Talk about relaxed !!

Sunday - Snowbasin, Bakery, Dinner

Sunday morning we went to Snowbasin, and rode the gondola up to the Needles Lodge for a scrumptious brunch buffet.

It was beautiful !

We are enjoying having Camryn and Amanda here for a visit.

Camryn and Payson

Later in the day we headed down to SLC to visit Grandpa Roger at the bakery.

We received a GREAT TOUR, and everybody loved it.

After we came back home, Tagg's nose hit Treyson's knee on the trampoline.  There were no tears, but plenty of blood !

Grandma "D" fixed a delicious meal (as requested by Manda) - round steak in gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, jello, salad, rolls............... WE LOVE IT !!

Afterwards the kids ran in the sprinklers, and lay down on the asphalt to dry off.

This and That......

Cam is losing her baby teeth:)
She spoke with a cute little lisp when she said some words :)

Tagg had an accident at our house last week, so I popped him in the tub, and then put him in Grandpa Roger's favorite "Red Birds" shirt afterwards.  It was great until he decided to pick his nose and wipe it on the shirt LOL.  Too funny !

We stopped by the Bakery last week to visit.
The boys LOVE the hairnets and twinkies :)

Treyson loves the computer.  His favorite game is Plants vs. Zombies.  The other day I was working out in the kitchen and he let out a blood curdling scream.  It scared me to death.   I thought he had somehow pulled the book case over on him, or stuck his finger in an outlet.............I am Grandma Dickson (the worrier) to a T.  Actually, the Zombie had just made it past all of the plants, and to the Treyson's house.......
It took awhile for my heart to quiet down.

One thing about all this wet weather, is the TULIPS around town sure look great ! My little flower garden out front will be beautiful this year.

Zac ran the 1/2 Ogden Marathon last Saturday.  It was a last minute decision.  He did really well, and Roger was able to leave work and see him finish the race with CJ and the boys.  Zac said it was a little bit intimidating, with all of the people lining the street at the end cheering.

Landon and Kacey have had a couple of "Tornado Warnings" in Dublin Ohio this past week.  All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and keep praying that they will not have the same experience that the people in Joplin, Missouri had.   Give me good old Utah, I'll take an earthquake over a tornado any day, especially since we don't have to worry about tsunami's.

"Wonder" ful tour director :)

A certain "bakery" man that I know will probably want to "murder" me for posting this.........but oh well :) You've got to do, what you've got to do !
Erika and two of her boys traveled to Ogden, via Front Runner a couple of months ago, and Rog took them on a tour of the bakery. What a great guy !!
