Changes, Thoughts, Distractions.............

The last weekend (the same weekend that Payson was baptized) - before everything got crazy, Thatcher had (what turned out to be his LAST) his state gymnastics tournament.  It didn't start until 5:00 at night, and we didn't get home until 9pm.  It was at the Exhibit building at the Weber County Fairgrounds.  Here he is with his friend Ben, and Tagg.
Looks like gymnastics is cancelled for now.........like everything else.  We were planning on MAYBE going to Albuquerque for Regionals..........but no more (CANCELLED)>
Landon sent me this cute picture of Payson on his Baptism Day.  I'm glad he was able to do this before the world fell apart.  Don't know when Thatcher will get baptized.  Maybe we'll have to do it in the creek !
I'm always "clipping" pictures that bring me peace.
And Quotes !!  This one below is from Howard W. Hunter.
“Fear, which can come upon people in difficult days,
is a principal weapon in the arsenal which Satan uses to make mankind unhappy. He who fears loses strength for the combat of life in the fight against evil. Therefore the power of the evil one always tries to
generate fear in human hearts.
In every age and in every era, mankind has faced fear.”
So True Cam - So True !!!
Missing Cam (and family) in Arizona.  Wish they were closer.  She was out with Spring Break, the week everything blew up.  Now schools are closed, and she's still home.  We'd love to have her come and visit - but how do we get her here without putting her on a  germ infested plane?  What  if they close the state borders and we can't get her home?  ..........hey, that's not such a bad idea (wink wink)
Amid the distractions this past weekend, we kept cleaning out the shop.  Know any good hunters?  We've got 18 decoys we'll make you a heck of a deal on............    I told dad, maybe we should just line them up on his front lawn, and cause a stir to passer-bys :)
Saturday was a GREAT DAY for flying kites !!  Man, did those kites fly !!   Tagg and Thatcher had a great time (so did Zac, and Me and Roger).  We had finished up at the shop, and were heading home, and I noticed they were getting ready to have some fun, so I turned around at the Richville Lane, and went back to join them.
The wind was GLORIOUS !!
The two kites flew so high - out to the end of the string line on both of them.
Remember these ?  I asked Zac if he was going to sell it, but he said no.  He wanted to take it home, and see if the kids even knew how to operate it !  I proceeded to DIAL my old home number.  9-6082.  I could still remember Grandpa and Grandma Dickson's  9-3394, and Grandma Tonks - 9-3760, and Uncle Norris and Aunt Pams - 9-6640.
Bright also had a dance competition?  review? on that last big weekend.  She sure looks cute in her costume.  I hope she had fun.  I suppose dance, tumbling, etc. are all cancelled now.  I don't know for sure.
And something CUTE to end with.  What a face !!
Love you Bexlee :)

Mostly Sports

Payson is playing soccer here in Morgan.  His first game went really well, and his second not so much.  In his second game, he fell down a couple of times, and for some reason, it really upset him :(   The third game he was in...........then out..........then in.............    He really gets into it, and LOVES to score !   It's really fun to watch him.
Tagg is #1
I've had a hard time capturing him in motion during a play.  He does really well, plays both ways (offense and defense), and is in the game 99% of the time.  His coaches are Jamie Spens, Jared Venz, and Ryan Randall.  He does really well.  Today he sacked the quarterback twice.  Go Tagg !!
This past week was Grandparents day at Morgan Elementary.  I picked up the boys, and they didn't want the school lunch, so we went to .............
J's !!!   We ate in the truck because it was so crowded, and it was raining.   I sure enjoy being around these two.
The Homecoming parade was later in the day, and we went to watch the boys on their floats.
Tagg was having a ball of course !
So was Treyson :)
We went to Ogden after the parade, and stopped by Landon and Kacey's home.   Harper was there too, and Brightyn and she were running around in nothing but panties.  Silly girlies.  We tried to get Kolston in this picture, but he wasn't having any of that (haha).  Brightyn is potty training !   Such a big girl.
Treyson's game today started out cold and windy, though the rain stayed away.  There is Treyson, the biggest and tallest on the team.  #44.  He can sure run when he puts his mind to it.  He played a good game today, but his team lost again :(  Seems they can't get it together.  They have yet to win a game.  His coaches are Ben Garrett, Petty, Barker, and Carter.
Doggy Pile on Tagg !!
The sun came out and it was actually quite pleasant.
After the game.
Later in the day Tagg tried to fly a kite.
He was marginally successful.
It ended up being a beautiful day.
Life is GREAT !

Working and playing at the Property

Outside doors get the final coat of paint
They love swinging !
Three Amigos
Master painter - MOM  (love you !)
Funny story - the other day I was coming to help mom paint, and as I got out of my car (before I came around the side of the building) I heard a little squeel, and a thud.  I ran around, and there was mom on the ground !    She was okay, thank goodness.  What was the cause?  A tiny little mouse, that she just about stepped on........she jumped, and rolled......   Glad she is okay !
The water heater is in, and the electric heater (wall mount) also.
New pea gravel spread out........
Grandpa and Treyson relaxing
Tile man :)
Grandma D protecting Tahtcher from the windy day (see video under family videos above)
We decided to move a small table inside, so we could eat in peace.
Tile is mostly done !
Selfie with my homies :)
Since the wind was so wild, we went and got the kites !  Oh what fun the boys had.  They became quite the pro's at it.
CJ was the master kite launcher :)
Thatcher liked the big kite (Thanks Uncle Rylee)
It was blowing, but wasn't really cold.  He's such a goofy kid.
Go Treyson !
and Tagg !!
The floor was acid washed, and then rinsed and water sucked up, in preparation for painting.
