Sleepover

Pays, Bright and Bex slept over on July 5th (their dad's birthday).
Landon and Kacey had floated the Weber River with friends, and then went out to eat.  Bentley stayed with Grandma Carol.  We drove up to the Porterville Cemetery, where the kids read all about their ancestor, Will Dickson. 

Grandpa Roger told them about his hay hauling days on the hills of Porterville.

We had their favorite for supper, Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. 

Then we painted some patriotic shirts. 

When their dad came to pick them up, they told him the story of Will Dickson.  We really had a good time.  Click here for a video of our adventures. 

 

Arizona Family Fun in Utah

Manda, Bren and Cash came to Utah on the Monday before Thanksgiving, and left on the Tuesday after.  It was a wonderful busy crazy 8 days.  We had a great time building a snowman, and having Thanksgiving Dinner, and a sleepover, and a movie, and a lazy day, and visiting Great Grandparents, and going to the Aquarium in SLC with Erika.

Sleepover and Fun times in the Jeep !

We usually have a sleepover on Thanksgiving night.  This year Bright, Bex, and Cash were the only takers.  The next morning we met Landon and Kacey and Payson and Bentley at the Megaplex to see Moana 2 !  So much fun !!

October Happenings in West Haven

Payson won a championship baseball game with his team, the Vipers.
We were able to go down to South Weber and watch the game. 
He is catcher, and is so so good, just like his daddy.

The girlies came up and we had a sleepover, painted pumpkins, swung on the swing, you name it, we had alot of laughs and fun times.  Even sister, Bentley spent a few hours with us.  It was a real treat :)

Oh what a fun time we had laughing over this picture.  If you were able to zoom in, you would see a drop of Pepsi......dribbling down her chin (haha)

Oh I love this girl :)  She's growing up so so fast. 

Zac came over to get Thatcher, so he could sleep at home.  He had school the next day, and needed to go to keep his grades up.

Next day, I let the kids skip school, and we put up the Christmas tree  - no pics !? :(     Then we took the stuffed elephant with the Santa Hat up to Tenzin's grave.

Payson won BIG on the basketball machine, and he shared his winnings with his sisters, what a GREAT SWEET brother.

We had such a good time, before heading back to Morgan for grilled cheese and tomato soup, then on to Kaley's house for a sleepover before she took them to Ogden.  Landon and Kacey had been in Key West Florida on a short vacation, and they got home early the next morning. 

 

Sleepover on Christmas Adam - a new tradition?

Bentley slept for about 2 1/2 hours, then was smiley for a little while afterwards, but I was sure glad I had Brightyn to be her 2nd mom, and also that Landon and Kacey came and got her so she could sleep in her own bed at home, and I didn't have to be a nervous wreck.  

This girl is a life saver.  So sweet and caring.  Such a helper.

All these two wanted to do was make card towers, and they had a blast !!
