Game Time - Football :)

#46, front and center.  Thatcher's first game went great.  He played both ways, and multiple positions.  It was fun to watch, and that boy's smile?  We never get tired of it :)

Tagg #50 - played nose guard this first game because the kid who usually plays that position recently had his appendix removed.  Hope to be back in his regular position soon.  Morgan lost, but played hard.  Ridgeline was pretty tough.  Mark and Carried came up to support Tagg, and we really appreciated that.  Tagg is one of the team captains.  He has worked hard, and really deserved it.

CJ and Zac worked so hard to make this happen.  CJ as Senior Mom has alot of responsibility, and Zac is right there with her to help.  Thatcher (middle pic) was introduced with his Little League Team also.  Love our #46

Football "Family" Float

On Friday, August 1st, the entire Morgan High Football team met at the Property for a day of fun, floating the creek, volleyball, cornhole, tetherball, swinging, eating over 240 hotdogs.....
They came in shifts from about 11 am to 3:30.  They were divided into "Families" to help to unify the team.......Senior to Freshman.  Roger and I cooked the hot dogs.  It was a really good day.  CJ worked so hard to get this put together.  She should be proud.

 When my brother played football in the fall of 1984, his first time as a Senior, he broke his ankle when going out for a pass in the first play of the Maroon and White Scrimmage.  Didn't play again :(

  Now-a-days, they don't let them tackle, and it was pretty tame.  The Varsity played the first 1/2 only.  Tagg was in on 95+% of the plays. He did great, and it was fun to watch. 

What's up with the Rich Gang in Morgan

Treyson is continuing his body building, preparing for a show later this year.  He is on the "CUT" now, so dropping everything but muscle.  He is so dedicated, it's impressive.

Big Papa !  Tagg has been doing Football Camp for a week, which will end with the Maroon and White Scrimmage on June 4th. 

CJ, being the Senior "MOM" has alot of responsibility in all things football related.  She created this cool TROPHY for camp.  One lucky boy will be the G.O.A.T.   Guess who contributed the "goat" from my "play animal" stash for grandkids?  HAHA.

Football - Already ? ! !

When Roger, and even Landon played football in high school, the first game (Maroon and White scrimage) was the week before school started in August, and football practice started 2 weeks prior to that.  Times have sure changed !  Seems like football season is from April to November now.  They have been weight lifting since before wrestling stopped, and now are competing in 7 or 7 and 5 on 5 scrimmages.   Click here to see a little bit about what 7 or 7 is, and here to see a little bit about 5 on 5. 

Tagg is continuing working with Tuni Kanuch, and was asked to be on his travel team.  They have traveled to St. George and Eagle Idaho.  Tagg goes up again HUGE Tongans, who are only Freshmen and Sophomores.  He's enjoying it an learning alot. 

Thatcher competes with his Morgan teammates.  He is a fun loving easy going kid, and is always happy.

Man, it was an exciting intense game..........
Probably haven't been that nervous at a football game since Landon played his senior year in the playoffs against Wasatch, and we lost :(

October Happenings at the Rich Ranch

As part of the home football games, Zac is in charge of getting the football helmet blown up.  Here, Thatcher is helping him.
