Baby Shower for Camryn and Josiah

These two were such troopers and trekked through the long airport without wheelchairs !
I was impressed :)
Not so for Kuk - she was a trooper also, only 2 week out from hip replacement :)
The bridal shower was held at Jasmine's home (Cam's friend) and it was a beautiful setting.

Our Arizona Family

It was great to visit on our Vacation with our Family in Arizona

So nice and warm there !

We got there about noon on Saturday, and Cam and Josiah came over when they got off work,
We also went to breakfast Sunday morning, and then watched Cash while Manda and Bren went to Jessica's 50th birthday party.  Cam and I made broccoli cheese soup, and then Sunday evening, Josiah's parents and brother came over for dinner.  Monday morning we did a little bit of touring around, and then hung out in the afternoon/evening.  Tuesday morning we popped over for a quick good-bye before we headed for home (the long way around :)

Vacation Time !!

Roger and I and my sister Erika left on Friday, February 21st and drove to Vegas, where Erika and I saw Donny Osmond in concert !  It was excellent.  Thank you Kuk :)
We dropped her off at the airport early Saturday morning, then Rog and I headed to AZ !!!
This was where we got to see our Arizona grandkids, Cash and Cam.
It was great to see Manda, Bren, and Josiah too (haha)
Amanda is just about 2 1/2 weeks recovered from her 2nd hip replacement, and is doing so well, I almost forget she had it done !!

We headed back to Vegas and Mesquite, and on the way we hiked in the Valley of Fire State Park, a couple of days later we hiked in Zions National Park also.  Roger humored me, and I really love and appreciate his support in the things I want to do.
I also went to the new Red Cliffs Temple in Washington, and the Las Vegas Temple too.
Our last two days were spent in St. George and Hurricane, watching Payson play baseball, and hanging out with these cuties !
Pays is such a great ball player, and we love to watch him and give him our support.
He turned 13 years old while we were there !!!

We got home on Saturday, March 1st.  We haven't had that long of a vacation since our Hawaiian Cruise in October of 2007.  We had a great time, but are glad to be home.

Arizona Trip

Rog and I took a quick road trip down to Arizona the day after Christmas. We had both been sick leading up to Christmas, and Roger wasn't feeling the best.  But you know, you make plans, and pay for lodging, and so we went.  It was fun to see what Cash got for Christmas.  He really likes to play on this jungle gym in his room.  Of course, I was nervous as usual.
Cash loves the near by park.  Josiah was home from basic training for Christmas break, so that we nice.  Cam had to work Wednesday, Thursday and part of the day Friday which wasn't much fun, and we didn't see as much of her as we would have liked.
Walked to the park and back each day.
He also loved BLUEY doll that we got him.
We did some "Manda" dos.............while there, and Cash helped out (haha)
I got in the hot tub a couple of times with him.

Cam had professional pics of her and Cash done for Manda and Bren, and Us for Christmas.  Here are some of them.
We ended up going home early on Saturday the 30th, driving straight through.  Josiah headed back to South Carolina for another month of basic on the 2nd of Jan.

2 weeks in Arizona

Manda had a hip replacement, and I went down to help out with the babe while she recovered.
He was fascinated with my suitcase !   There was a time when Cam was little that I teased I would bring her home with me in the suitcase.  No more !   I'm too old for little ones............. Man he is hard to keep up with.  It is so true, why you have your babies while you are younger.
Cam has a statistics class that is giving her grief.....
But she's plowing through :)
Helping mom with the dishes
(Night before operation)
We went to the park every morning before it got too hot.
Manda came through the operation like a champ !
She takes after her dad for sure.
Miss Rachel is Cash's favorite !
I went to Goodwill and bought some sand toys for the park.
They were a hit !
Lovin' on Mama
And Daddy
A couple of days after the operation, Manda got scared because of how she was feeling (short of breath, very hot, but shaking all over) - She had Bren call 911 and the EMT firefighters showed up lickety split, and were so so good with her, and calmed her down, did a few tests, and told her that everything looked okay.  She opted not to go in the ambulance.
Every day she got a little better
We made salt dough
And decorated for Halloween
Every day when Cam came home from work was the BEST !
Plucking my eyebrows takes TWO helpers :)
Hard to get any homework done with this kiddo
Manda is very happy she is without debilitating PAIN for the first time in over a year.
YIPPEE !!!!
There were sad times.......
and HUGE PIZZAS !!!
I was able to get a lot of things done.
Put two bookshelves together, trimmed bushes, watered bushes, cleaned out shed, placed pavers, hung mirror and pictures, fixed baby gate, made dinners, did dishes, picked up toys, chased babies.....
Manda was so very appreciative, and told me so many times.  She is a very loving and caring person.  I was so happy to help her, and it made me even more appreciative of my own mom's help.
Josiah left for basic training while I was there.
It was hard for Cam to see him go.

Helping Dad
Playing with Mom - Down on the floor !!!
We're (me and mom) are going to be able to do so many fun things now that her hip doesn't hurt !!
