Payson is a good big brother, kind to his sisters.  He will be a leader for sure.  We love his hugs, and goofy smile.  It's hard to get him to take a picture without a goofy smile  (reminds me of ME when I was a kid about his age).   LOVE YOU PAYS  Hope your day is great.  Picture book is coming soon !!  

 

Snowmobiles !!

Thatcher has been going to his friend's home, and riding snowmobiles in the fields out back of their house.  One day, Zac and CJ and the boys were invited to go up Hardscrabble with their friends to do some trail riding.  Zac "caught" the bug, and with Thatcher's encouragement, they picked up a couple of old sleds from a guy in West Haven.  Two sleds and a trailer - ON THE CHEAP.  Zac brought them home, cleaned them up, and they are running like a charm.  The one looks JUST LIKE Roger's old Polaris 700 that he used to ride years ago.   Thatch has had a fun time in the field out on back of the house.

Our West Haven Gang

Bexlee and Payson (can you spot them in red?) are going faithfully to Chaos Fitness, where they work to keep strong and fit.  Bright does her thing in Dance and Tumbling. 

Kacey is working for neighbors who film the making of recipes for various websites.  It keeps her busy.  They did a spotlight of her on their Instagram page, and it is very complimentary! 

This is Yvonne and Steve (the neighbors)  They are great people.  

Brightyn and Bexlee were able to perform as part of a mini-cheer group at a Fremont High School basketball game half time.  Great Job Girlies !!

Bright has also participated in a few tumbling competitions with her cousin Hadlee.  She is doing well ! 

Sweet little Bentley

This boy looks tired !   Pays has been playing some Junior Jazz Basketball.  Hoping we can get down to a game before he is through.  

Everyone once in awhile, Bright will send me a text and picture.  LOVE HER !! 

 

Landon -  when I do get a chance to talk with him, he's busy busy busy.  Work is going well, he said he won a vacation (with Kacey) and they will be going to the Mediterranean?  area (can't remember the exact place) in the next few months (can't remember when).  I'm suffering from CRS syndrome :)   He is kept very busy with his kids activities and sports.  He is coaching Payson's baseball team (which is just practicing right now), and that season will ramp up here soon.  The last I talked with him, he didn't know if they were going to St. George to any tournaments yet.  Also he's talked of going to AZ to Spring Training, but I haven't heard if that is a definite either.  The family's ward boundaries have changed, and they are now going to a church that is much closer to their home.  He told me he is the Ward Employment Specialist.  Landon isn't going to compete the the Xfit open this year (I'm not sure why) - he is still going to and coaching Cross-fit quite a few early mornings each week.  

Cam's life

Cam's life has changed in the past few weeks.  She quit her job at Sicilian Butcher/Bakery which she has had for the past 2 1/2 years, and has moved on to a job that is more in line with what she wants to pursue as a lifetime vocation in counseling. 

She is now working with autistic clients through a company that specializes in this type of work. She has has a couple of weeks of training, and just this past week has really gotten into the actual work.   She goes to an elementary school in Scottsdale, and shadows a client throughout the school-day, then drops back to another client (very near their home in Chandler) for a couple of hours in the late afternoon.  This has changed the amount of time she has to spend with Cash, and it is an adjustment.  It has made Cam realize just how lucky she has been to have been able to be around Cash so much for the first year of his life.  Cam is also continuing with college at Mesa Community College, and is doing great there......except for Math.   I told her to call Cousin Brian for some tutoring !!   I don't know why we didn't all get my dad's math genes?!?   

Josiah is going to a Tech school (similar to DATC) and specializing in his love of auto mechanics.  He will be finished in October.  

They are enjoying their cat, "Beerus" who just got "fixed" a few days ago.  

 

Cash in AZ

I get picture almost daily from Amanda, and I so appreciate it. 

They have been taking advantage of the beautiful AZ weather, and going to the nearby Desert Breeze Park quite a bit. 

This little guy sure loves it. 

Cam and Cash

He is running all over now, and Manda is trying to break him from his bottle, which is proving to be a bit of a struggle at times.  I think they are down to one a day. 

There is also a place called "Giggles" nearby, which is a fun place to go and explore.  Kind of reminds me of the Children's museum.  

 

Wrestling is done

It was a great year, and we are sorry to see it end.  

These boys did great, and there was alot of emotion (ups and downs) as we watched them compete. 

I believe it brought them all closer together.  It is hard to go out on the mat by yourself, win or lose, and the support they showed each other was great to see. 

This is after Tagg won by pin at the last home match of the season against South Summit.  John Porter had come to watch, and also Grandma Ben, Shirlee and Jim, and my mom and dad were able to be there also for the first and only time this season.  It is really hard for them to get out, and also, Dad can't see anything that is happening on the mat.  I tried to narrate it, and hopefully that helped.  

There were three sets of brothers wrestling on the team.
Tagg and Treyson Rich, Rylin and Skyler Crowther, and Gabe and Lance Toone.

After winning South Summit - they placed 1st in REGION !! 

Thatcher wrestled also, mainly going to all practices, but not competing in many matches because he was always at his brother's tournaments on the weekends throughout December and January.  This was one match we saw, at Wasatch High.  He had to wrestle a 15 year old !!  It was tough.  See Video below. 

Treyson had a great year, placing at several tournaments, 
1st at the JV Rockwell Rumble
3rd at the Richardson Memorial
5th at the Enterprise Tournament
2nd at the Divisional
5th in 3A State Tournament
