Fun Summer with LIFE !!

Cash is sitting up !  We can hardly wait to see them in a couple of weeks :)

Manda sent this picture, and I couldn't resist adding a red cap - he looks like he's flying, just like SUPERMAN !!

Tagg and Thatcher have been having a great time with friends down at the creek

Payson and Bright and Bexlee were able to go to Classic Waterslides with their Chaos friends.  Can you spot Payson?  He's just come off the slide ! 

My dad in the garden, checking out the squash and pumpkins.  I hope at 85, I can squat down like that................who am I kidding?  I can't do that now at 61 !!! 

Happy 45th anniversary to US !!

Out of 40 plants, only 4 have survived.
We are spraying for bugs, so hopefully I can have some Sauer kraut this fall.

We had a nice ride last weekend with Mom and Dad, Zac and CJ and Thatcher and Roger and I.  

 

Our life lately

Cam is going to be going to Hawaii in September with her Schutt Family.  She is sure excited ! 

Little Cash is eating so well.  He eats most everything his parents do, just pureed or smooshed up.

Roger D.  A summer night on our front porch after the sun goes down over the hill.

Another "project"  = a box to hide all the mess of wires at my office. 

A surprise visitor last Sunday morning.  Thank goodness no damage was done. 

Zac has been working on a place to shoot bows down at the Property. 

Also, working on a booth for CJ's Swiss Day's adventure which is coming up at the first of September. 

 

Happy 4th of July

The evening of July 3rd, Zac and CJ and Tagg and Thatcher slept out at the Property.  They broke out an old tent that Shirlee had given them.

They ended up walking instead of riding - not too fun, and You can see Tagg's back in this picture, but I don't see Treyson.  There is Aaron in front getting candy :)

Then it was time to float the creek for the first time this year.

Tagg had a couple of friends hang out, and they swung off the platform, and went down the slide.

It was a good day - we were missing Landon and family, they were camping in the Uintas with friends. 

Can't get this picture upright - but the fireworks were great also.

Payson's Youtube - Orange Crinkle

 Payson likes to create and edit videos on YouTube.  His channel is Orange Crinkle.  You should check it out, and don't forget to subscribe.

The other week, Grandma Carol sent me a bunch of videos that Payson and his cousin Dayton had taken on her phone.  I thought, I would put them together with the video editor on my computer, and post a video on MY YouTube channel.   I thought because Payson had done it on Grandma Carol's phone, that he wouldn't have been able to post it on his channel. 

After I finished it, I put a link the Payson's YouTube channel at the end of my video, and then I checked out Payson's channel, for his latest videos, and low and behold, he had already done a video of the many clips he and Dayton had filmed !  I was really surprised and humbled, his video was really great, and he really has a talent for it.

Lava is Fun - Floating the River

I'm almost caught up !  This happened 2 weeks ago today.  We were invited to go up to "Lava" to Jim and Shirlee's cabin with the kids for a day of fun.  We left at 6am, and when we arrived at 8:30am, Shirlee had breakfast already for us !  It was yummy :)

After breakfast we headed out for a Ranger Ride up the mountain.

The hills were ablaze with so many beautiful wild flowers.  Notice the Indian paintbrush in my hair ! 

In the afternoon, we went down into the town of Lava to float the Portneuf River which lazily flows through the town.   Click here for a fun video !  They even got Roger D. in on the action. 

Back to the cabin for tin-foil dinner supper. 

And of course, s'mores and biscuits........

It was a great day, and we left for home about 8pm.
It was a long fun happy day with family.
