| I'm almost caught up ! This happened 2 weeks ago today. We were invited to go up to "Lava" to Jim and Shirlee's cabin with the kids for a day of fun. We left at 6am, and when we arrived at 8:30am, Shirlee had breakfast already for us ! It was yummy :) |

| After breakfast we headed out for a Ranger Ride up the mountain. |

| The hills were ablaze with so many beautiful wild flowers. Notice the Indian paintbrush in my hair ! |

| In the afternoon, we went down into the town of Lava to float the Portneuf River which lazily flows through the town. Click here for a fun video ! They even got Roger D. in on the action. |

| Back to the cabin for tin-foil dinner supper. |

| It was a great day, and we left for home about 8pm. It was a long fun happy day with family. |
