Green Day - Green Grass and Green House

Zac on the Grasshopper (Grandpa's new lawn mower).  We had previously burned the dry grass and weeds a couple of weeks ago, and we cleaned a little bit more, and now it can be mowed !

Zac had to climb up this tree like a monkey - dodging the thorns from the adjoining tree.  The very end of this big main limb had broken off, and was hanging there.  He took care of it with the chainsaw.

Took a new picture from the Welch Ditch Bridge.  Things are greening up !

Zac got the pipe hooked up so Grandpa can begin watering from the wet well down at the Property.

The Dandylions were in full blom.
I just HAD to get some pics

Thatch is quite the cheeser

Treyson was more worried about the bees than anything :)  I wonder where he gets that?

Of course they had to start the pit on fire, even though we didn't have anything to roast.

Tagg was such a good brother and pushed Thatcher on the new swings.  All went well, till he misjudged, and caught one on his nose......... :(

Looks like a serious conversation with Grandpa Roger, who arrived home from work a little bit earlier than expected.

Just in time to help with the Greenhouse Project

Step One - get it all laid out and folded just right.

Move it into place

Lift it up on top, with all of holding it in place while Zac does the screwing, and going up and down the ladder, moving it along as he goes.

Down with one layer of boards, and then back up with another layer on top.

And VIOLA !!   This plastic will probably last as long as the other plastic did - about 5 years....  The minute they got the ends on, the temperature inside SKYROCKETED!!  AMAZING !!
