One day and night down - one more day to go !

Ian Davey, Aubrey Mecham Sanderson, Jennie Largent,
Stan Durrant, Zac and Landon Rich

Are we ready for this?

Landon's 1st leg started at about 5:07 pm in Liberty, and he finished in 32? minutes.   I loved the text that Zac sent me - "Landon did good".   We waited at a church in Eden and Treyson ran with him a little ways.

We were able to catch up with him a little later also
(still on the 1st leg)

Zac's 1st leg started about 6:37 pm.  We grabbed a Subway, and were waiting for him when he passed.

We caught him again, and then headed home.  We were stuck in a MASSIVE traffic jam over Trapper's Loop Road, and it took us over an hour to get home to Morgan.

Cedar and Nikki's team stopped by our house.  They looked like they were having a great time !   Nikki was going to run from the Porterville Church to East Canyon.  They had a crew waiting for her at Grandma Rich's to cheer her on.

Thatcher loved Ragnar :)

We sat on our porch and watched the runners with Grandpa and Grandma "D".  They brought Dax over to play with the boys.

Tagg, Treyson and Thatcher.
It was a great day !

Reports from Leg 2 are as follows:

Landon departed East Canyon Marina at 2:09 am and finished at 2:48 am.  He reported that it "was a little longer, but the hills were rough".

Zac started his 2nd leg from North Summit High School  at 5:15 am, and finished at  6:11 am in Wanship.  Landon said, "He killed it !  with a 7 minute mile!"

They are now catching some much needed sleep while Van 1 cranks out 27 miles through Kamas Valley, and Landon will pick it up on Leg 3, hopefully about 11am.
