It's over !

Team #28
The Intrepid Sheep Shearers
crossed the finish line tonight at 6:32 pm.

They placed #433 out of 1092 teams
They ran it in 32 HOURS 40 MINUTES and 18.9 SECONDS

Roger and Zac at the Charleston Church,
waiting for Landon to come in.

We made the drive up to Heber Valley and watched Landon finish up his 3rd leg.  He did 4 miles in 30 minutes. (1 pm to 1:30pm)
Way to go Landon !

Landon headed home after his leg.
Kacey's Grandpa was going to the temple for the first time,
and he wanted to be there with the family.

We drove up to The Homestead (the next stop on the Ragnar course), and I showed Roger "The Crater".

Before we knew it, Aubrey had arrived and Ian took off, and so we decided to follow him and see just how far they would let us up Pine Canyon to Guardsman Pass.  We went all the way !  We were able to see the dreaded RAGNAR leg which Zac would be running.

We didn't stick around to see Zac run. There were too many vehicles.   Before we got home to Morgan, we got the word though.  He  ran it (jogged the entire way) in 46 MINUTES 56 SECONDS.  He placed #123 overall on the Ragnar leg.
 Way to go Zac !!

I tried to take a picture from the top (while the car was moving) - you can see just how high up over  the Heber Valley, the Ragnar course goes.

It was a great couple of days.
I had worried that the RUNNING would kill Landon
and the EXPERIENCE would kill Zac.

I was wrong on both accounts.
They LOVED it - and would do it again !!

See you next year - Ragnar 2013
