Pulling Taffy.........or not.

The other night Treyson and I made Vinegar Taffy


Vinegar Taffy
2 cups Sugar
1/8 tsp. Cream of Tartar
2 Tsp. butter
1/2 c. Vinegar
Boil to hard ball
Pour on buttered pan
Cool and Pull
Every thing worked as it should through the mixing, boiling, cooling stage.........
Here we are, buttering our hands, getting ready to pull.



Okay - I look like a cow chewing her cud.......I'm giving up gum !  Ha !!







The Taffy just fell apart and turned to hard sugar at the end. 
So disappointing.
