The Project

It started out something like this.....
An old gas pump from Round Valley, where my mom grew up.It was light green in color (the picture above is NOT the original tank, but it was similar).  Grandpa used to fill his tractors with it.
This pic was taken last October
when "The Project" was started

Gotta love this kid
Zac worked so hard on this.
It was a lot of work
It was completely rebuilt with original and new parts, and is a fully functioning gas pump.  We were going to put it outside of Grandpa's shop.  We had even figured a way to make it "legal", so that actual gas could be stored and pumped.  But............ it was JUST TOO NICE to sit out in the weather, and possibly be subject to vandalism.

Moving Day
I didn't get any pictures of the actual MOVE - because I was helping, but let me tell you.  It was intense, and nerve wracking, and took the muscles of 4 men and 1 woman.....we were most worried about the glass cylinder (original) and that it not get broken.

Payson thinks it looks GREAT !!
 This move happened in February

Sides

Light works
Small adjustments

Pictures for posterity :)

Two hard working proud men
The Project Manager, and the Financier
Couldn't ask for a better place to display it.
