Most Wonderful Weekend

We picked up Cam from the airport on Thursday night, and Friday morning we headed to St. George.  We were in one car, and Landon, Kacey and Payson in another.  Zac and CJ and the boys had left on Thursday.
We stayed in a three bedroom condo in Mesquite, near Jim and Shirlee (which is where Zac and CJ were staying.  They were great !  This is definitely the way to go when you have older adult kids and families.
Don't know WHERE Tagg and Thatcher are.
The babies were SO SO good, all weekend.  You couldn't ask for better little ones.
In the hot tub at the condos with Rylee and another little boy (never did get his name).
Thatcher is getting teeth !!
Ready set JUMP !!
Spaghetti for supper - gotta load those carbs !!
Grandpa and Thatch and Payson
Essential OILS on the feet  and legs in preparation for the race tomorrow- CJ working her voodoo (haha)
We drove the back way up to St. George, and took off past Gunlock reservoir to the litte high mountain town of Veyo to catch Zac 7 miles into the race.  WE WERE TOO LATE !!  He had already passed.  It was quite a site to see.
At mile 26 (a marathon is 26.2 miles) - with our signs waiting for Zac to come it.
Go Dad !!
He finished in 3 hours and 24 minutes - he loved it !
The old fogies :)
Treats at the finish
Payson is happy :)
Kacey and Landon
Grandpa and the big kids
Back at the condo relaxing
Cute little boys -  7 - 8 months old now
Moms and babies in the pool
Taggie and Zac in the hot tub
Camalama
Sunday we traveled up to Zion's National Park - this was SO MUCH FUN !!  Here we are on the shuttles.
The kids were so good - not ONE TEAR or FIGHT, it was wonderful
Cam, Tagg, Treyson
At the Weeping Wall - a short 1/4 mile hike from the shuttle stop.  The wall curves out over, and has water dripping like rain all of the time.
Treyson got one right on the head !!
Thatcher loves his MOBIE !!  He kicked and squealed and smiled the whole way.
On the trail to the Temple of Sinewava (the entrance to the Narrows)
He bad.............
A nice man got a picture of all of us together.  It was SUCH a great day, I can't get over how much I enjoyed this day.  I only wish Manda and Bren and Cam C. could have been with us.
We got off the trail and down to the bank of the Virgin River. The sand was soft and the kids dipped their toes.  The dark you can see in the picture is the shadow of the HUGE towering walls above us.
The Rich family - supporting the HUGE HANGING rock over the trail.  They are STRONG !!
Grandpa was in charge of making sure the kids didn't fall (haha)
Payson didn't like the cold water on his toes at all !
Zac and CJ and boys
Playing in the water
Thatcher with his toes in the sand :)
It was such a great day !!
36 little piggies
