Once there we could look down on the stage and grassy area where the chairs will be set up in a few days when pageant starts.
The statue at the top is of Moroni with the golden plates.
As we sit to rest, we can see many families who are participating in pageant. They all seem so happy and there is a special spirit here.
The weather is just about perfect, and we deserve it after those stifling days in Nauvoo.
Just sitting here in the shade now, people watching. Life is good.
