Goats, Goats, Everywhere

France with Lewis and Clark, before they were weaned.
We left them on for 2 days, then began the bottle feeding process on Tuesday.
It seems everyone loves new babies
Even Treyson (who's usually NOT a barnyard man)
Lewis is the bigger of the two babies.
Still no other babies from either Paris or Azula
Starting on the bottle with mama's milk Monday night.
First couple of feeding were kind of rough
After the first night alone without mama.  I woke them up, and tried to feed them, but they hardly took any.
Katie came up to help CJ with the noon feeding on Tuesday .  Didn't go very well.
When Roger D. got home in the afternoon, he didn't think either of the babies was going to make it, they were both so thin and frail  and without energy.  He and CJ immediately began feeding every 2 hours for the rest of the day.
By Wednesday morning, they were finally getting the hang, and did really well on their feedings.  I think we (they) are going to make it !!

Our life - from the average and boring, to the exciting and fun

Lucky got a hair cut
Tagg is a rock hound.
Look at his educational video here.
Sad Puppy Dog Face (haha)
I have yet to see a game of Thatcher's
Here he is showing me his batting stance.
Picked up some new plants at Valley Nursery
Tagg's new puppy Rex - he'll be ready to go in a few more weeks.
Our silly chickens don't know where to roost at night.
Wonder what will happen come winter?

Uh - this is making Grandma nervous !
Lunch at the Property
A little left over ice cream
My mother - the bridge cleaner :)
Zac and Grandpa D and Roger were able to get a bunch more sprinklers changed out yesterday.  Alot of hard work.  Only 6 more to go.  I think there are 60 in all.
Relaxing while watching
My hero
France had two babies about 6pm last night
If you want to see the actual birth of the 2nd one, click here
Here they are about an hour after birth.
Haven't named them yet -
Probably Brownie, for the brown faced little white one.
The black one sure is tiny, but seems more active than Brownie.

**CJ vetoed me - it's Bert (White) and Ernie (Black)
Unless we change them to Lewis and Clark (per Tagg)

***Guess we are going with Lewis and Clark (haha)

Tagg's baseball

Playing Third Base
Good Job Tagg
Tagg was getting a little discouraged, and down on himself.  Uncle Rylee gave him a talking to, and told him that he couldn't/shouldn't say negative things about himself.

Memorial Day

Zac and Roger and Grandpa D worked to replace 30? 40? of 60 (total) sprinklers.  Changing from the Maxi Paw to something different.
We all brought potluck and our meat and drinks.
CJ made this cute "flag" thing.  Pretty Yummy !
These three are growing up so much !
I brought over some gourds that we had grown last year, and that had dried over the winter.  The little kids had a great time painting them to be used a bird feeders.
The bigger kids weren't interested, but Thatcher, Payson and Bright loved the painting.
The bigger kids were having a water fight in the ditch, and Thatcher got in on the action too.
Warming up on the hot cement afterwards, and slurping up (Treyson) Erika's colorful jello ribbon salad.
