| I would love to go for rides with my family, usually the long ones were up over the Mirror Lake highway. There were no electronics, just conversation in the car, and looking out the window, and best of all THE FOOD. Mom would buy a loaf of bread, and a package of sliced baloney from Doyle's, and we'd stop in Kamas and get some curd cheese at a store. She had an old red and white Coleman cooler, and a red and white Coleman water jug. This memory always makes me smile :) |
