Day 4 - Back to Seattle

We woke up to rain  Thursday morning, and it came down hard as we traveled back from Forks to Seattle.  The clouds let up  as we got near Bainbridge, and the sun was shining as we got on the ferry to cross Puget Sound to Seattle.
Before we took the rental car back, we had time to visit UDUB aka The University of Washington.  Cam wanted to check it out as a possible future university site.  It was a beautiful campus, and we spent a little time walking around and checking it out.  Go Huskies !!
Later in the day we returned AGAIN to the Seattle Center via the monorail (we are getting to be experts at getting around downtown Seattle!).  Cam REALLY wanted to visit MoPop (The Museum of Pop Culture).   What a sight..........

Back to the hotel for a little relaxation..............
Here's another view of our Hotel.
Then we took a walk a few blocks south to Pioneer Square.  I just couldn't stop taking pictures of the unique sights.
We went on the "Spooked in Seattle" walking tour
The architecture down in the old part of Seattle is amazing !
You can't see it here, but in the Pioneer Square area, there is ALOT of homeless people laying everywhere.  It was kind of unsettling, and sad.
The Smith Building - apparently just as tall as the Space Needle, and you can go up inside to see the sights ALOT cheaper than you can in the Space Needle.  But hey - you HAVE to do the Space Needle, right?
More old buildings............  I just loved it.
Merchants Cafe, one of the "haunting" sights we visited.
Last stop for the evening was at Archibald's for dinner.  Wow - it was EXPENSIVE !  We split two appetizers (meatballs and macaroni & cheese with Lobster)  Yummy !!  I kept Cam entertained by telling her how much the alcohol (bottles) was on the wall I was facing.  Wow - there were some that went for HUNDREDS of dollars for just an OUNCE.  CRAZY !!

Now for a good nights sleep back at our hotel, before we catch the light rail back to the airport and head for home.
