FHE - The Wise Man built his House Upon the Rock

We gathered together as we do once a month, for FHE.  This time we met at the Property for a "messy" object lesson. 

We (I should mostly say I) talked about FOUNDATIONS, strong foundations, weak foundations.   What makes a strong foundation?  Being Kind, Being Helpful, Good Moms and Dads, Good Examples, Jesus, Family, Church, Being Honest.

Then we made houses to put on our Foundations

More watering............ the garden is growing, however that corn.......(shakes head) 

All of the grassclippings help to keep down weeds.  Sure hope all of the fun and unique pumpkin plants survived.  If they did, we should have a doozy of a crop.

We initially thought that maybe 3 posts would have to be "bolted" on.......... that # has been revised to SIX !! (dag-nabbit!!)

Nice and cool..........and the mosquitos HAD A FEAST !!

Sleep Over !

After an unusual day on the 4th of July (cold and windy) - we still decided to sleep over at the Property
We set up under the bowery, and it turned out wonderfully.

Then we headed back to the house and of course they had to check out the chickens.  Payson and Brightyn hadn't seen their chickens since April, when they were last visiting, and at that time, they were just baby chicks.
