Moving the Red Shed

This is the Red Shed we built in our barnyard a few years ago.  The animals don't like it !  They never use it for shelter or shade.  Such a waste.  I guess they just like the big old barn better.  We offered it to Zac and CJ for their place, IF we could get it moved there.   First off, it was braced.........
Then we used the trailer to move it.  Our plan was to move it the same as we did the carport .
It wasn't quite as easy at the carport, and there was much jacking and bracing, and thinking and maneuvering.  I would guess the entire time it took to brace, jack, move was about 3-4 hours at least.
Grandpa and Grandma D came over the check it out.  We finally had it secured on the trailer, and now to pull it out of the barnyard.  Man that Ranger of ours is a workhorse.  Roger just put it in low, and it worked like a charm !!
Thank goodness the gate was wide enough !
Poor barnyard looks empty now..............   Time to plant some pasture grass.
A few more minor adjustments before we hit the road.
We made it !
Pulling into Zac's
Whew - I'm relieved.  I worried so much.

Then a week later, Zac poured the posts for the footings to hold the shed in place.
Such good helpers.
Take a look at the short videos below, to see the highlights of our day.
