There were many many people on hand, trying to stem the tide of the creek as it emptied over the east bank onto Susan Ralston's property, headed towards Morgan City.
Earlier yesterday morning, I could see that Streadbeck's property was majorly under water, and flowing back onto ours. Also, the "patch" we had worked on Sunday, proved to be woefully inadequate, and it was pouring out of our bank again. I called Roger, and he came home from work about 10:30 am. A few hours later, we managed to get our problem fixed once again. Thank goodness for good help from good friends.
