Morgan County Fair 2012 - (Better Late Than Never)

They had so many cute kids games.  Tagg was the only one who participated.  He fed candy peanuts to this elephant's "nose), and then got a bag of chips from his mouth.  I didn't get a picture, but the nose picking monster was pretty cute too.  Tagg would NOT reach up inside the slimy boogery nose, and they had to hang the "booger" down so he could see it and grab it.  Cute Cute.

Sure wish they lived closer. I get a little (a lot) melancholy when they leave........every time......... Wished Cam could have been here to see Miss Piggy in person........ She left the cutest voice mail on my phone last night, asking tons of questions about the pig and goats. I sure miss them.

Welcome Miss Piggy

We've added another baby animal to our farm! It was hilarious to see the interaction between the goats. When I went out this morning I thought she had gone missing, but then she trotted out from the high weeds. She is a cutie, a pot bellied piggy :-)

I think the most fun at events like this, is to be together with the family.  Ben & Lu were there, along with Trin, Hayleigh, Kelsee, and Linda (and baby Autumn).  Also, Zac and CJ and the kids, and Rog and myself and Cam.  It was a great time !

Last year Tagg rode a sheep, but this year he's a little older and wiser :) He was about 25th on the program, and after seeing a few kids before him have major melt downs, he thought he'd have one too ! It was a no show this year. As for Treyson? He didn't even want to try it out.


The kids tried, but unfortunately, they couldn't add to Grandpa Roger's menagerie !

Visitors from Korea

Morgan Valley HALF Marathon and 5K

Cherry Hill - July 27, 2012

Dallin brought Dax over (they live very close to Cherry Hills now), and Landon and Kacey and Payson came.  This was Payson's first time in a public pool, and he really seemed to enjoy it.  The water at Cherry Hill is very warm compared to many places.  Tagg liked the Lazy River most of all, and after a ROUGH first time down the Cardiac Canyon, Treyson and Cam LOVED going with Uncle Landon, who could manage to hang on to their tubes (Grandma Gwen couldn't, although I must admit - ONE adult to three children, just doesn't cut it).  Roger sat in the shade and guarded our stuff.  We went down about 4pm, and didn't leave until 8pm, and the kids STILL wanted more.  It was so much fun.
