Landon is playing little league basketball.  He is on Bryan Shaw's team.  Some of his teammates are Alan Tucker, Garret Preece, Brian Erickson.  They are really good, and will get to play at the Dee Event's Center.

14 - #120 had twins and they both died

16 - Luncheon for Steve Young, our building inspector who is quitting.

2-22-96 Horrible bad snow storm that I tried to go to Salt Lake City in, and about ran off the road, and turned around on the clover leaf.  It took me 1 1/2 hours to go down to there and back.

April 2, 1996

Today we bought us a 1986 Ford F350 Diesel Crew Cab.  It is brown and creme color.  We bought it from Heiner Ford for $7,500.  It has 158,000 miles on it.  I think we will like it allot.  We are going to a Jazz game tonight.  They are playing Seattle.  I am going to UAC (Utah Association of Counties) meetings tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.  They will be held in Ogden at the Ogden Park Hotel.  Landon starts soccer tomorrow.  Tami Mark is his coach.  Landon is in 2nd grade this year.  His teacher is Claudia Davis.  Landon has also, just finished recreation wrestling.  He went to 3 tournaments.  He placed 2nd at North Summit, 2nd at Evanston, and got a medal  at Morgan for participation.  He says he is the best one on his soccer team.  He is a really great goalie.  He has really improved on his reading this year. Zac is in 8th grade this year.  He has done really good on his grades.  He really has to work hard for them, and he's really conscientious about his homework.  Some of the classes he has taken are, shop, sewing, Pre-algebra, English, Utah History.  Some of his teachers have been Mr. Kilmer, Mr. Larsen, Mrs. Christine Whitear.

April 7, 1996

Today is Easter.  We are being lazy.  Rog is at work.  Zac is outside burning and pulling the digger.  We are going to eat at mom's at 5 p.m.  Today General Conference is on TV.  Mark and Carrie are down at St. Ben's.  Her water broke, but she's having no pains yet.  I hope everything goes well for them today.  (They had Dallin on Easter. He is their third baby boy.  Devan was born in October of 1994)  I need to get my butt in gear and get the house cleaned and wash finished up.  I slept terrible last night.  It is a beautiful day outside today, so was yesterday.  We worked outside all day yesterday.  We got allot of the dead wood burned out back.  Now we need to get all the dirt leveled out.  I also need to call Dave Jones Masonry, to have them give us a bid for the retaining wall.  We went out with Rog and Annette Friday night.  We went to Pizza Hut, and then to Smith's to pick up Easter Bunny stuff. 

Dear Mandy's Parents,

Since now I am not allowed to be with your child anymore, I felt like I should write and tell you how I feel. Your daughter is my best friend.  She has always been there for me, and I don't know what I would do if I couldn't be with her anymore.

I know that whenever Mandy gets in trouble, I am always a part of it.  You could say I am bad luck, but really, I have nothing to do with Mandy's choices.  If Mandy wants to do something, then Mandy will do it, regardless or what I say. She has her own mind, and she can say yes or no, but that's her decision. Mandy is a great girl, and everything she is doing.  (I think this was written by Tami Carlos, a friend of Mandy's)
