House Happenings

Zac modified the cupboard above the fridge, and it looks like it was never modified !
New fridges are a lot taller than they used to be 25 years ago, and since ours was totally built in, we had to tear out the sides (gaining a couple of inches for width which was needed), and also the cupboard above, which was then cut down about 3 inches.  He also modified the doors, and when they are painted, you will never even know.
Fixtures back in - granite looks beautiful.
We are still waiting on the window sill (to be made from the granite)
Love my new sink !
Stairwell sure looks different.  We removed the green carpet coving on the walls.  Roger sure has a lot of patching to do now, as they used TONS of staples to attach the carpet.

Trying to pick out colors for the walls, and cabinets
It is HARD !!
Painted our bedroom fan (from gold to brushed nickel), and it turned out really well.  This is the family room fan.  I made an executive decision, and we are not going to paint this one, but are going to get a new one.
Roger D watching Layne TAPE our sheetrock
He only has one more sanding, and then texture and he's done.
Paint for the WALLS is in two weeks, so we are working towards that.
