Snow Day for our Arizona Boy

We had such a fun day before Thanksgiving. The snow was JUST RIGHT, and the sun was shinning, and it was the first time Bren and Cash had ever played in the snow !

Odds and Ends

Payson got a 3D printer for Christmas.  He and Landon have been learning and having so much fun with it.  They made this replica of the Salt Lake Temple for Grandpa Marlin. 

I was able to go up on a new ski lift located in Morgan County.  It was a beautiful day.  Amazing views. 

We had a very low key New Years - Cam and Josiah celebrated too.

Over New Years, there was a lot of sickness at the West Haven Rich Ranch.  Pretty much everyone was either throwing up or "the other".  I'm glad they are all feeling better now. 

Bex and Pays are still going to Chaos fitness, and doing so well.  Bright keeps busy with her dancing and tumbling.  Between Piano lessons, sewing lessons, pre-school, elementary school, baseball, etc.  They are very very busy !!

Sure has been a GREAT winter - Look at all of our snow !! LOVE IT.  Keep it coming, especially in the mountains. 

I put on my coat at work and tried to save some limbs on our tree. 

Happy Birthday gifts to me from Manda.  Oil sprayer, and mini electric whisk.  LOVE IT !! 

They always make ONE BIG ONE every year.  Glad Dad is such a good sport and helper.

Fun day in the SUN with SNOW !!!

The snow was SO great for making snowmen two weeks ago.  It was so nice and sunny.  Zac and his boys went to work !   Notice the celery for nose, carrots for mouth, cauliflower for buttons, and broccoli for the eyes !  I believe that' s a dog dish for the hat :)  

Hockey sticks for arms, and it was just great !  

I called Landon, and asked if they had any snow down in West Haven, and they didn't have a stitch, so up they came and we had a ball at our house.  

The balls were so big and heavy, it took Roger, Landon and Kacey (hiding in back) to get it put together.  

It was leaning back a little bit, and I was nervous (of course) that it would fall on the kids.  We barely got it done before the shade from the shop across the street interfered.  

Bright worked on the snow igloo, and we helped her finish it up.  

Notice what is in Bexlee's hand?  She had to check out the chickens :)   It lasted until they got in the car to go home, and then SPLOOSH.........good thing Grandma had her put it in a plastic bag !! 

It was so so warm, that the igloo and Snowman's head, were totally gone by the next Thursday morning !  

We went in the house afterwards, and relaxed, had some pizza, and talked while the kids played.

It was a great time with family :)  

 

Same kind of Saturdays

Tagg still has basketball, and really does a great job.
It's fun to watch the team.  Tagg really does a great job defending. 

We had Landon and Kacey's kids again (while they are reffing/score keeping) at the basketball games in the middle school gym. (We are in the Trojan Century Center).  We are glad for MAGNAFORMS - they keep the kids entertained. 

Back home for lunch we had grilled cheese and tomato soup and NO BAKE COOKIES !

Brightyn is so funny, she was eating her chocolate milk with a spoon - crazy !

Then we got bundled up, and went outside so Grandma could get some pics.  As usual, it's more work for the parents, just getting them all bundled up.  And the fun only last so long, until they are cold and crying.  

Brighty knew what throwing snow was all about :)

Treyson was the master sleigh riding trail builder - with a little help from Thatcher on his back.

.....for a while, and then she got upset, and huddled with Lnadon under some pipe.

There is a big pile of rotomil in Wilkinson's road, and it makes for a steep fast hill for sleighriding.  These two boys made it to the top.  Payson had a problem, because he had a finger that was hurting (because he had bitten the nail too deep), and he refused to have a glove or mitton on it, so with one bare hand, it was kind of complicated.  

An ANGEL for sure ;)

During all of the sleighriding, Tagg was busy with building a snowman, which is what he REALLY likes to do.  We got two lemons, a carrot, and some olives to complete the face :)

I managed to get in the house before Treyson lobbed this big snowball at me.  

It's March - and you know what THAT means !

She's BAACK.....and this time she is taller than Kuk ! (by just a hair :)

We met my brother and sister and mom and dad at a restaurant in Bountiful.  Dax is quite the  Kendama-er :)

Then we drove home to Morgan and found THESE yahoos at the Property

We loaded up the boys, and went for a treat at Nebco

Then we went down to Prescott's and picked up the baby goats.  The kids LOVED the dogs, Corver and Annie.

Then home to play in the warm sun and melting snow.....

The snow didn't faze THIS Arizona girl :)

We moved to the back yard.........

and proceeded to make snowforts and snowmen........

I went and grabbed my bread tins, and we made snow bricks

We finally called it a day after we were all wet.........  we went in the house and took off all the wet clothes, and threw them in the dryer.  You should have seen the make-shift outfits they wore while waiting for them to dry. 

Later we went up to Grandpa and Grandma Ben's and Cam drew her name in the snow - just for FUN !
