Rog fired up the old compressor for sprinkler blowouts.
Always glad for this time of year. Fall is my favorite.
The Pit Project is continuing. I'll post more about that soon.
Rog got his fix in Vegas, on our way down to Manda's for our Rocky Pointe Vacation.
We have LOVED LOVED LOVED supporting Tagg in his football.
Thatcher too !! We are so glad he will be a Freshman next year, so we can continue the support for another 4 years.
Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we are closing Rich Lawn Care. Mowing and Trimming our yard, Mom's yard, Zac's yard, and the Property will keep us as busy as we went to be. Hallelujah !! It was a great thing (2018-2025) but all good things must come to an end.
As many of you know, Roger is working at the Ogden Airport a couple of days a week. A little while ago, Landon and Payson flew out of Ogden to Arizona to watch Spring Training. They got a few great pics of Roger D in action. He loves working there, and always comes home with a big smile on his face. It's great to love a job !
He does a little bit of everything, from marshaling in planes, to moving ramps, to loading and unloading baggage, to working the ticket counter.

Roger's birthday party turned out SO WELL!!
I had these words above, made into a HUGE BANNER, and we had pics, and food, and tons of people came to support him. We sure appreciate everyone for their help and love and friendship.
I didn't get many pics of that day. I was trying to live in the moment, and not behind the lens all the time.
Last but not least - this little sweetheart loves to laugh !!
This is the difference between Roger and I. Every single time, just before bed, he removes his boots, and places them neatly.
On the other hand, I kick off my shoes while sitting back in my chair watching TV, and there they sit. I think the other day, I picked up 5 different pairs (when I finally got around to cleaning up).
I wish I was more like Roger. I'd probably be nagging him if he did what I did, but he never says a word to me.
I give him a bad time about being Mr. Perfect, with the first name of "Always".
Franz Bakery sent Roger a birthday card. I got quite the kick out of it, because someone had purposely cut this picture of Clint Eastwood out, and pasted it on the inside of the card ! How did they know that Roger used to be told that he looked like Clint? Wow.
And here he is - 40 years ago (1976) Age 18. Hubba Hubba, it's no wonder I fell hard ;)

Rog gets haircuts about twice a year. Seriously.
At the end, I'm bugging him almost daily, and I HATE the wings.....it drives me crazy. I like his looks SO MUCH BETTER when it's short. This time, it didn't get TOO long, because THATCHER, who needed a haircut BADLY, wouldn't get one unless Grandpa Roger got one. So. They. Did.

Rog came out of surgery at 4:30 pm on Thursday the 16th. This is Saturday morning at 10:30 am. 36 hours post surgery. He keeps saying - "This is awesome - I'm not in pain any more !"
We watched the kids for a few hours Saturday afternoon. Landon was taking a test at Weber, Kacey was cleaning, and Zac and CJ had to run to Ogden to get electrical supplies.

Sunday morning we went up and got Grandma Ben, and took her up to the cemetery with us to put flowers on Grandpa Ben's grave for Father's Day.
Tagg went with us, and wrote on the little "blackboard" a Happy Father's Day note to Grandpa Ben. The purple flower arrangement is what we took from our own flower garden. It was three different kinds of purple flowers, and they were beautiful !.
Then Tagg wanted to visit his Grandpa Chris Matthews' Grave. I had to call CJ, but we finally found it.
