Love our Life - Love our Family

Do we look like we are sitting in a boat on the river?
HAHA  - we are not.  We are standing on the Welch Ditch Dam, taking a selfie.
Looking South - to our rear is the backed up East Canyon Creek.
I was glad that Roger was such a good sport, and even SMILED !!
My beautiful cucumber plant that has provided me POUNDS and POUNDS of cucumbers, which I've made into my cucumber salad over and over again.  I'm hoping I get another picking before they are gone.
#44  - Treyson, still playing football.
His last game is this Saturday.  Unfortunately they have lost too many games to make it into the playoffs.
This is up in North Logan, can't remember the name of the new high school, but it's a NICE ONE.
Look at that beautiful TURF field, which surprisingly, isn't as fun to play on as you would think. It is HOT and HARD.
Me and Bright, and Grandpa in the background.
After Treyson's football game in North Logan, we traveled down to SOUTH Salt Lake (South Jordan), to watch Pays play some baseball.
It was a lovely time, relaxing under the shade.  The girls play so nicely, and it's enjoyable for the most part.
Bright even found some dirt, which they proceeded to turn into a mud puddle :)
Bexlee just walks around, minding her own business.
Petting Lola :)
There's our boy (with the mitt)
After the game with Dad (Landon)
THEN..........after a day of football and baseball, we went to Nathan and Jaidyn's wedding reception at the Cross E Ranch in North Salt Lake/Woods Cross.  It was pretty neat !
Had to take a picture of this - hoping Zac and Rog can make a playground for our goats (haha)
Look at the man with the machete !
We got all of the corn taken out from the garden.  Made a few bundles for decoration, and fed the remainder to the goats  and Miss Piggy (stalks)  and chickens (ears)
Crazy brother - now you see Treyson.............
........now you DON'T !!!!!!!
Helping Dad (Zac) with the new lawnmower
CJ had surgery, so I took over some dinner one night.  A favorite, grilled cheese and tomato soup!!
Went to the temple with LuAnn, Georgia, and Sharlene
Was able to print out my own name right from my phone app.  Pretty amazing.
The frost in on the Punkin'.................
So we will be taking them out soon at our annual Pumpkin Gathering Party.
This is Tagg's football float at homecoming
I can't see which one is him though.
My phone died by the time Treyson came along :(
Foggy morning in Morgan
All the cabbages harvested from the garden.  The biggest one on the scale weighed 20 pounds.  It was bigger than a basketball.  We got them all delivered.
Zac and CJ took a "General" ride up Hardscrabble with the boys.
Notice Thatcher sitting on the new seat the Zac built.
Somebody is going in the CREEK!!!!
And you will never guess in 1 million years who has taken up KNITTING !?!?!?!?!

Landon is gone.....

When we got to the MTC, we were ushered off to a side (covered walkway area) to drop of luggage, then directed around the front of the building to the main entrance, where the missionaries went in one door to get their badges and instructions, and the parents/family went in the other door. Then Landon came over and I got to put his badge on him. It was neat. We went down the hall to a BIG chapel (more like a cultural hall, but we were told it was dedicated as a chapel). The room was about half full, but because there were only 3 of us (I think), the usher directed us up front, and we actually got to sit on the very front row !! This proved to be a good? thing..........because a nice man came up to Landon, and asked him to give the opening prayer !!?!?! Can you believe it ?? It was special, because when he introduced him, he said, "And the opening prayer will be given by Elder Landon Rich, from Morgan Utah, who will be entering the Peru Lima North Mission. It was a short sweet program, we got to sing Called to Serve, and also watch a short video of the same name. Then it was time to part, and they told us to use the band-aid approach. Quick...........and painless. We did just that, with a couple of hugs, some "I Love You's and no tears, and grins from ear to ear. He went one way, we went the other, and that was that. As we were driving away, Roger said, "Well, 730 days left to go"...........now THAT is depressing :(............... but no worries :) (now where have we all heard that?)
