Odds and Ends

Bexlee - she's 2 months now, and smiling, and wide awake, and aware. 
She takes after Payson I think, and looks a lot like Landon's baby pics.

At the dance review, she was a perfect angel.

Rog had his knee scoped.  All went well.

I guess all this week, he has a field trip every day, and then, just like that, Kindergarten is OVER !

Our last week......

Roger absolutely FORBID me to post pics of him taken in the hospital.....so I won't.....
I did take them though :) I just won't post them

I know these pictures aren't proportionate - the "before" picture is MUCH closer.
Roger's "after" knee was swollen pretty bad this day. It's gone down alot since.

All is well !

The surgery went great, and other than being VERY nauseous, Rog is doing fine. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He'll be home Wednesday, if everything goes as planned.

Total Knee Replacement - What it's all about

Do you have 7 minutes? Want to see what is going to happen to Roger on Monday? This is AWESOME !! - Oh, and it's all animated, so those of you with weak stomachs don't need to worry.

PS - Roger is only 50, not 70 something......and it's his RIGHT knee :)

A new knee......

This is what Roger's new knee will look like. Obviously the clear plastic is his BONES, and the little hingy thing on the side (that holds it all together) will be his own muscles, ligaments and tendons (or something like that :) We'll find out tomorrow what time he needs to be there on Monday. He doesn't seem nervous at all. He's been taking some physical therapy this week in preparation for the big event.

A NEW Knee

Roger is getting a TOTAL KNEE Replacement in February. I was thinking he would basically be like the "Terminator", with hydraulics, and everything - WRONG....... It's actually very "simple". I was surprised - we both were. Click here to learn more, and watch a very short video of the process.
