First Game - Morgan v Sky View.  This was the night before Tagg left for the Mexico MTC, and he was able to come and watch.   Thatcher almost got an interception.  Watch here

Tagg left EARLY this morning for the MTC (Missionary Training Center) in Mexico City, Mexico.

Farewell talk and luncheon for Tagg

Tagg gave his "farewell" talk in Morgan 5th Ward Sacrament meeting on August 9th.
He did such a good job, and had prepared so well.

Our Missionary

We were all able to see Tagg "set apart" as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Tuesday evening.  CJ and Zac bore their testimonies.  CJ spoke about the power of prayer, and Zac spoke on his love for Tagg, and how he knows he will be a good missionary.  Stake President Hales then performed the blessing, and then Tagg also bore his testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ. We are so happy and blessed to have another missionary in the family.  It's been 18 years since Landon completed his mission.

Tagg began Home MTC on Wednesday, August 4th.  This is his District.
He gets up early each morning M-F, and has personal study.......

Then companion study with his companion, and then about 3 hours of Zoom instruction with his leaders from the Provo MTC and his entire district in the morning, a break for lunch, then 3-4? more hours of Zoom in the afternoon.  He will have his "P" day (Preparation Day) on Saturdays, and then Sunday he will give his farewell talk in Sacrament Meeting at noon. 

Afterwards we are gathering at the Property for a light luncheon.

Tagg leaves for the Mexico City MTC on August 20th at 8am.  He will spend a month there learning more Spanish, and then fly to Fort Lauderdale Florida on or about September 20th.  What an exciting adventure and learning experience he is about to embark on :)

We are so happy for Tagg

Last Sunday night, we gathered at the "barn".  Tagg read aloud his mission call. 

It was such a special time :) 

He is going to Florida, Fort Lauderdale Spanish Speaking Mission.
He starts Home MTC on August 5th, then after 1-2 weeks, transfers to Mexico City, Mexico MTC for a few weeks, before flying to Fort Lauderdale.  He is super excited.
