Uinta Camping.........and a FIRE :(

Landon and Kacey went with friends camping in the Uintas.  Bentley loved her friends "strider bike" so much, that Landon had to make a trip to Walmart in Evanston to buy her one !!  She's a natural athlete !!

Bright and Bentz were riding alone on the 4-wheeler a little ways from camp when it caught fire !!
They were able to get off safely, and some passer-bys stopped and put out the fire with some handy water bottles.  The girls (especially Bright) were shook up.  The nice people who stopped to help, pulled the 4-wheeler back to camp.  They are so blessed to not be hurt !  

Fun time in June for Landon's family

Payson finished up summer ball with the Clearfield Club, and his Venom team.  From now on I believe he will be playing strictly with Morgan's team. 

He spent a day fishing at Echo and got really burned !! 

Caught some nice fish though! 

Bright played some softball too - though we never caught any of her games.  This was one where Morgan played against North Summit, and she played against two of her cousins, Harper and Hadlee.

Thatcher and CJ went with Tracy and family and friends to Bear Lake and saw The Little Mermaid at the Pickle Valley Playhouse.

Thatcher had a great time in the water.

Capitol Reef Camping

A few weekends ago, Landon and Kacey and kids headed south in their trailer with neighbors Steve and Yvonne.  They were headed to Torrey, Utah where Steve and Yvonne own some property. 

They had a great time riding around in their Rangers and 4-wheeler

Their camping experience went very well.  Click here to see a fun video of their adventures.  Landon said Payson and Brightyn did SO WELL on the 4-wheeler. 

Odds and Ends - August

Bexlee is in a BIG GIRL bed now..........and she's potty trained !!  So awesome for MOM and Dad. 

This picture was taken a few weeks ago when Landon and Kacey and kids were camping up in the Uintas.  Grandma Ben was up there also with Joni and Kerry, and they met up to visit. 

Janell fixed me up with this beautiful arrangement of flowers.  I had the old tool box, and bought the flowers at Joann's, and she put it all together for me.  Looks great in my utility room at our home. 

Seems like they are always wrenching on some mowers.  Maintenance is a big thing. 

Our corn is doing weird things this year......... Most of it is okay though, and it is COMING ON !!  We've had corn on the cob for the past few days, and it is SO SO GOOD. 

Mom had her 83rd birthday a few days after dad's.  Erika and Aaron brought up this fun cake :)

Still floating........  It is cool, relaxing, and fun. 

The culvert for irrigation water was leaking under Highway 66, so they sent a crew out to fix it.  They ended up replacing the entire box.  

Our watering crew in the garden.  I'll have another post - totally garden related soon. 

Makes me happy that Cam will take the time to appreciate the beauty of a sunset. 

We got a new swing for the Property.  Here is mom trying it out.  She made herself dizzy though.  

Cam got a job !  She texted us last night, and she will be starting today at the Sicilian Butcher in the Chandler Mall which is not too far from their home.  She will be a hostess/barista.  She's so happy this finally happened.  It's been a hard go down there with COVID and all for teenagers to get jobs. 

They are still working on the new shed (in the shop)

Landon and Kacey and friends came up and floated the creek one night.  This is Payson and Steve - they were tube buddies.   

There were four families -  8 adults, and 8 kids on 8 tubes.  Rog and I were the pickup crew.  It was quite a feat getting them off the creek (lots of laughs !!)

Last but not least - we are DONE with goats.  Brooks and Dunn went to the Bagetta's (across the street from LuAnn).  Here is Josh, loving on them.
