Our Miscellaneous October

The days are getting shorter and colder.
There is sure FROST on the pumpkin. 

Rog fired up the old compressor for sprinkler blowouts. 

Always glad for this time of year.
Fall is my favorite.

The Pit Project is continuing.  I'll post more about that soon. 

Rog got his fix in Vegas, on our way down to Manda's for
our Rocky Pointe Vacation. 

 

We have LOVED LOVED LOVED supporting Tagg in his football. 

Thatcher too !!
We are so glad he will be a Freshman next year, so we can continue the support for another 4 years. 

Can't remember if I mentioned this before, but we are closing Rich Lawn Care.
Mowing and Trimming our yard, Mom's yard, Zac's yard, and the Property will keep us as busy as we went to be.  Hallelujah !!  It was a great thing (2018-2025) but all good things must come to an end. 

Vacation Time !!

Roger and I and my sister Erika left on Friday, February 21st and drove to Vegas, where Erika and I saw Donny Osmond in concert !  It was excellent.  Thank you Kuk :)
We dropped her off at the airport early Saturday morning, then Rog and I headed to AZ !!! 

This was where we got to see our Arizona grandkids, Cash and Cam.
It was great to see Manda, Bren, and Josiah too (haha)
Amanda is just about 2 1/2 weeks recovered from her 2nd hip replacement, and is doing so well, I almost forget she had it done !!

 

We headed back to Vegas and Mesquite, and on the way we hiked in the Valley of Fire State Park, a couple of days later we hiked in Zions National Park also.  Roger humored me, and I really love and appreciate his support in the things I want to do. 

I also went to the new Red Cliffs Temple in Washington, and the Las Vegas Temple too. 

Our last two days were spent in St. George and Hurricane, watching Payson play baseball, and hanging out with these cuties !  

Pays is such a great ball player, and we love to watch him and give him our support.
He turned 13 years old while we were there !!!  

We got home on Saturday, March 1st.  We haven't had that long of a vacation since our Hawaiian Cruise in October of 2007.  We had a great time, but are glad to be home. 

Vegas Baby ! - Brightyn tumbling

On May 8th - Bright headed to Las Vegas with Kacey and other teammates to participate in Regional Tumbling.  Looks like they had a great time :) 

 

Vegas + Gymnastics = FUN TIMES

On our way !   Early Friday morning, February 21st.  We are headed to Vegas for Thatcher's gynastics.

We stayed at the Westgate Hotel, and this is also where his competition was held.

It was only 6pm, but our feet were hurting, and the 2 party poops (along with the gymnast) wanted to head back to our hotel.  Not THESE TWO (above)  though !!  They wanted to GAMBLE !!  As usual, Rog bombed, and CJ struck it RICH !  Too bad she doesn't know when to stop !!

On our way out of the hotel, just before heading home.  Roger and Thatch did this  "thing" - 3 D?   The seats they were sitting in moved with the movie they were seeing, and it was a roller coaster of some kind.  They didn't crack a smile or make a noise......... silly guys.  But they liked it !
