The Cat in the Hat

 I won 4 tickets to a live performance of The Cat in the Hat by the Salt Lake Acting Company

When we got there, we were treated to sugar cookies shaped like the Cat's hat, and milk.  This was a hit !

We had great seats - center and about 7 rows up.  We were soon joined by the Director of the production, and her family, including her little daughter Presley who was 6 years old.  They were dressed in matching Cat in the Hat print skirts, and red sweaters.  Of course the boys were full of questions, and they were so friendly, and explained everything :)

The production was one hour long, and was TOTALLY entertaining.  The script was word for word from the book, and the sound track and sound effects were amazing!  It really was a treat for young and old alike to watch.  Here is a link to an article that ran in the Salt Lake Tribune - to give a good idea of what we saw. 

After the production, the director took video of her daughter interviewing guests.  Of course Treyson and Tagg were front and center :)   After the interview, we said our good-byes, and little Presley had to give Tagg a hug!   He said he wants to go back again :)
