New Projects

Zac and CJ's new building/pole barn/shop.........(I wonder what we'll end up calling it?)  Started this past week.  Monday I think.  Big 8 x 8? redwood poles cemented in the ground.

Trusses were built onsite (I think)  - in between the poles.  Strangest thing I've ever seen.  Built in 3 sections.

Then they brought in a crane, and hooked them up and proceeded to lift them into place.  They were raised up, right around the poles, and then secured in place.  See video at end of this post.

Working on the underground plumbing (Thursday night) , because yesterday the cement floor was poured !!

Ready for the cement - they were supposed to prep for a 4 inch floor, but goofed up, and so Zac got a 5-6 inch floor and a 3 foot apron in front for the price of a 4 inch floor.

Next project - Welch ditch diversion, all framed up

Finishing up later yesterday - was cold cold cold. 

Thatcher was the only one of the boys brave enough to hang with Dad and Grandpa and brave the cold. 

Thank goodness for BOGS........except they were full of water by the end (haha)
