A little bit of this a little bit of that

A couple of times in the evening about 8pm, we hear the back door open, and in runs Thatcher.  Usually without a shirt (crazy kid).  He and Zac have rode their bikes over for an evening ride.  Thatcher is usually out of breath, and wants Roger D. to take him home.  Zac rides his own bike home, in the gathering darkness.  Fun times !

Here we are - August 18th - the last day of feeding..........

They are STILL crying in the barnyard, everytime we walk out of our house.  It is getting better though.  It was a fun experience for sure.  We'll probably do it again next year !

Here is Thatcher with his new for school "haircut" munching on carrots from Grandma D's garden.

We got the water line extended to our barnyard, and buried, and we are watering the ground (trying to soften it up) in preparation for planting pasture grass in the one side.  

It's that time of year, and we are giving the goats the left over corn stalks.  They love it !  It's a great way to get rid of the refuse from Mom and Dad's garden. 

Cameron went in for surgery on the 18th of August to fix a tendon on his hand.  It was cut while he was goofing around with friends, and at first they thought it just needed to be stitched, but later found out that the tendon needed surgery to repair.  Hopefully it will heal fast, as it is his dominant hand, and he won't be able to do schoolwork easily while it is in a cast/splint.

This is a older picture - from the first part of June, but I only just saw it, and wanted to share it here.  This is when Cam was helping at her church with Kidz Kamp.  She really enjoyed this.  There is her cousin Hannah in the back too.

This guy is huge !   I remember seeing him at a wrestling match in Morgan when Landon was wrestling.  His son wrestled for the Park City team.   I don't think we really realize just how big these NBA players are in real life.  This picture was taken at an event for Landon's work.

You can hardly recognize her, but Cam is in the back in the middle.  Having a great time at School or Rock, her home away from home.  Still lovin' the bass guitar :)
