Debbie Mortenson is tending the kids now (she lived with her husband and kids, right across the street from my parents when they lived in Morgan City, in my Aunt Barbara Whittier's little rental house)

October 5, 1982

Today is Tuesday.  This Thursday we are going to Wendover, Nevada.  Rog and I, Linda and Bruce, LuAnn and Ben, and Joni and Kerry.  Mom and dad will tend the kids.  Zac has had diarrhea for a week now.  I've taken him off of milk and am feeding him jello water and yogurt.  I hope it will clear up.  Debbie Mortenson has been tending them.  They cry everyday when I leave them, and it makes me feel terrible.  I don't know how much longer I can go on working.  I'd quit tomorrow if I could face telling my boss.  Chet and Joan Adams bought Mrs. Terry's house next door.  At first I was jealous, but now it doesn't matter that much.

November 1982

8 - Well baby clinic  Amanda is 26 pounds 35 1/2 inches, Zac is 21 pounds 6 oz. 30 1/4 inc.

25 - Make pies, 2 banana and 2 lemon for Thanksgiving

26 - Day after Thanksgiving, shop!
