Basketball continues............this time with Treyson and Tagg

Treyson is a mellow player, easy going. 
His coaches are Sanders and Gailey, who are in his ward.
I guess the 6,7,8 graders play together.
Hope he learns a lot, and enjoys playing this year.

I didn't get any video of Tagg.
He plays very aggressive, and there are quite a few boys his size and stature on the team.

At the Cemetery

It was a cold cold morning, when we took the poinsettias and little Christmas trees up to decorate the graves.

We took stakes, and hammers, and Roger D was the muscle.

I'm glad the sun was shining, but it sure was cold.

The little stuffed animals that the boys had put on the graves were still there.  We dusted the snow off, and put them back on display.  So cute.

Always a bittersweet time.  Wishing they were still with us.

Get together with my Mom and Dad, and my sister and brother and our spouses.  It was a great evening with good food, visiting, laughing and just being together at Francisco's in Farmington.  A little hole in the wall joint with excellent food, reasonably priced, and not too noisy or busy.

Sickies

Poor Brightyn had HAND FOOT & MOUTH disease, and was pretty miserable.  Payson was sick too, but I'm not sure if he had exactly what she did.  It was a pretty miserable few days at their house :(

And the flu didn't skip Zac and CJ's boys either !  I guess the schools in Morgan have been hit REALLY hard with all of the sickness, and the boys were no exception either.  

Forgotten Carols

Last Monday evening we went to The Forgotten Carols at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.
I had won 4 tickets, just by commenting on @smallyspice's Instagram account.

Landon and Kacey, and Grandma Ben went with me.

If you can believe it, our seats were RIGHT NEXT TO Megan, and Debi, and Tara, and Dani.  What are the chances of that?    It was a long 2 hours and 45 minutes (7:30 pm to 10:15 pm), but it was great, and I LOVE the songs.

I'm so grateful that my friend Theresa Hyde introduced me to The Forgotten Carols a few years ago.

Our Arizona Girl

We are so excited, and looking forward to Cam's visit at the end of December. 
Here's a little bit about her.

She's in the 8th grade (oldest in Apprende Middle School)
Next year she'll attend Corona High School

She LOVES LOVES LOVES playing the bass guitar.
She goes to School of Rock twice a week, for group and individual lessons.

She is currently practicing for an upcoming concert on Sunday, and then in January we'll fly down to see her perform over Martin Luther King's holiday.  They concentrate on different styles of Rock, and this time it is Led Zeppelin. 

She has been working so hard, and practices for hours a day.
She hopes to go to a University which specializes in a great music program after high school.

Camryn is also a great student.  She gets good grades, and is a good friend/

She is extremely responsible, and works around the house, earning an allowance, that transfers to her own personal debit card.  She and Amanda are great friends, and are able to talk about anything.

Amanda has done SUCH an exceptional job as a mother, and when she talks about Camryn, you can just hear the love and respect, admiration for her daughter in her voiuce. 

Cam is assertive, and stands up for herself and others.

She is kind to others, and we love her dearly.

Disney Vacation

A couple of days after Thanksgiving, Zac and CJ told the boys they were going to St. George for the weekend.  When they got to St. George, they kept driving..............THEN they popped out these stuffed animals, and told them PLANS HAVE CHANGED !!! WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND !!!!
