Bear Lake

The kids were pretty good in the backseat.  In fact I commented to Manda a couple of times when they were extremely LOUD,  "at least they aren't fighting" :)

We got to Minnetonka Cave about 11:45 am, and the sign on the ticket office said "Selling tickets for the 2pm tour !  Holy Smoke :(  Luckily we were able to get in on the 1pm tour because of a cancellation.  The kids ate their left over pancakes from McDonalds (we had stopped in Evanston), and also had fun watching the chipmunks that were running all around. 

At the entrance to the cave - we were glad we had jackets !  Cam's legs got a little cold, but they all held up well during the 90 minutes tour.  

We were first in line, and we had the cutest tour guide.  If you know Treyson at all, you know he asked the VERY MOST questions on the tour.  Tagg was a close second, and Cam, a distant third :)

On the way home we stopped along side of the road for a quick dip in the lake.  It is SO shallow, quite a way out from the shore.  It was really refreshing.  Even I got in :)

On our way out of Laketown, we stopped to get us each a shake.  Manda went in to get them, while I stayed in the car with the kids.  On the way back out, balancing FIVE SHAKES, she dropped one of them, and then proceeded to smear the 4 others on her CHEST as she bent to pick up the one that fell.  It was pretty funny, and we laughed and laughed about it.  She was sure a GOOD SPORT !!  It was a great day :)

Cherry Hills Evening - FANTASTIC !

We had such a good evening.  Everyone was happy, the kids ran around, the adults relaxed.  We picked our spot in the shade, and Grandma and Grandma Ben (Rich) planted themselves there as the base of operations :)  Roger came (later), and Erika and Aaron came, and Carrie and Dax, along with Cam and Manda, Zac and CJ and boys, and Landon and Kacey and Payson.  The water was warm and refreshing.  The babies were happy, we had snacks to eat, and ended up staying till about 8 pm.  Thanks everyone for coming !!

Happy STINKIN' 24th of July

Cam's new outfit (shirt) - before we ate.  It was a nice relaxing day with family.

Aaron decorated a great cake and cupcakes to celebrate the July birthdays.  Roger D. and Jaden weren't here :(   We sang to them!  Mark's is on the 30th, Dad's and Roger D.'s are on the 29th, Landon's was on the 5th, and Brian's was on the 22nd.  Jaden's is on the 18th? I think, and Lance's is on the 28th 

Payson pretending with his "gun" :)  He was a sweetie.  We couldn't hardly get him to smile, but he loved moseying around, checking things out.  Unfortunately Thatcher went home with CJ to take a nap.  Treyson was so sick, throwing up, etc. 

Tagg got in the river, and freaked himself out a little bit when he couldn't touch.  He was pretty cold in this picture.

Tagg and Cam and Dax ran around and had a great time.  It was a good day, except for the STINK!! that permeated EVERYTHING.  Of all days, the farmer across the river decided to spread manure on his field.  It totally STUNK THE PLACE UP, and the dust from the tractor gave mom the worst stuffed nose/head.   After we got home, our CLOTHES STUNK, and my CAR STUNK !!!  It was so so gross.

Zac and Roger didn't make the party at the property because of work, but afterwards they came over to our house.  Zac and CJ were watching Lindsey and Moroni's 5 girls.  Boy what a crew we had :)
