Odds and Ends

Anasazi Grill in St. George - serves up the meat on a HOT ROCK, which you them proceed to cook yourself, right at the dinner table.  It was a neat experience.  I'd like to stop there with Roger sometime.

Greenhouse all set up, and tomatoes planted !

The kids LOVE to get the flashlights and look for monsters in the dark basement. Tagg is down there, trying to scare them.  Grandpa isn't helping, as he is scaring and egging them on from upstairs.

Brightyn still runs to him for protection though !!

Brightyn is the Cutest Soccer Player EVER !!

She's a beautiful little girl.
My heart melts, because everytime she sees me, she runs up, and yells Grandma (with outstreatched arms)

Grandma Carol promised her a $1 if she would get in there and kick the ball (she usually likes to hang back and run at the back).  Well she did !  She was so proud..........

She really got into ti !  Look at the smile.

Cleanup at the Property - Spring 2018

Spring clean up is the worst.........but actually I think it's the THOUGHT of the cleanup that is the killer.
Zac started raking at 7am, Roger and Mom and Dad at 8am, I showed up at 8:30, and Dallin and Aaron, and Brian came a little later.  We were done by 11am - YAHOO !!

This contraption that Roger and Zac built and hooked on to the front of the tractor helped immensely !!

Later that day we went to Mtn. Green and picked up some free landscaping rocks (little) that some guy wanted to get rid of.  We had about 10 buckets, and filled them as fast as we could.  We kept Zac hopping, as he picked up the buckets and dumped them in the back of the trailer, which thankfully was back up close to this area.

RS Sisterhood

I serve in the Relief Society Presidency.  This is Vicki, our President.  She is awesome.........but struggles with sewing/cutting...........haha.  We had a few great laughs.   Teamwork made it possible !

It was a great night to be together with the WOMEN and YW, working on a project to send with Jenni Earl when she goes to Nepal on a humanitarian mission later this month. 

FUN RUN - Payson is FAST !!

Last week (or so), we went down to West Haven Elementary School to watch Payson run 1 1/2 miles in the FUN RUN.  It was a cool day (but not terrible), and the rain held off. 

There he is front and center, running towards us.
He ran and ran, and hardly ever stopped, only to get his marks checked off (on his back - see pic below)

Every time he made a lap, w would all give a cheer.   He wouldn't look at us most of the time, but you could see his smile.  When it was all finished, he came and gave us all Hi-5's

35 laps = 1 1/2 miles

Good job Payson  !!
