Another House Project - finished

Kenzie (CJ's sister) bought a cute little old home in Morgan City.  It's just the right size for her and Blakeley.
But first, a little work !
, Zac (and Roger) and Kenzie, have been working hard to make some cute, fast, easy renovations before move in.
Enlarging a door opening, in preparation for adding a counter/bar area
Sink out, cupboards prepped for painting, dishwasher plumbed.
Carpet up, ready for new flooring, doors removed, ready for painting.
Tile prepped for painting, flooring removed, ready for tile.
Many nights after work were spent, and at first the weather cooperated........then not.
New cupboards in place.
Bathroom painted
Door sanded
New tile layed
Nice big garage
The back of the home.
The work continues, "fake" beam up,
More doors painted
New molding
cupboard doors painted
Cupboards painted !
Flooring beings - Landon came and helped alot with this one day
Matting - put down before the flooring
Tagg was a big help too.
Another late night, and the electrician had the power off, working on light installation.
Tagg is getting proficient with the saw.
Barn door hung
Cupboards put back together, hardware on.
Countertops begun
How was the pine going to work?
Absolutely beautiful
It finished so fine, dishwasher installed, sink in place, beautiful fixtures.
Stairs done - beautiful
The shower had already been done in "white water", so all that was needed was a new shower head, shower curtain holder.
New lighting
Fridge
Bathroom vanity/sink
Stove in place "tile" in place on backstop.
Couldn't forget a pic of the water main - Kenzie took a tumble in here one night about broke her leg !
Hooking up the water dispenser for the fridge.
It's been a GREAT PROJECT !!

Happenings in AZ

Last Saturday, Brendon was in charge of his American Legion Post 35's entry into a Memorial Parade, celebrating a couple of Native American's who served valiently in WWII.
This is a friend of Bren's (can't remember his name) - I think we met him last time we were in AZ.  There is Amanda on the float, in the background (looking away).
Bren helped set the wreath at the memorial.
(Bren far left)
It was a very solemn occasion, and I am so happy the Bren and Manda are getting involved with things like this.  They hope to take an active part in the American Legion.    Both of them are proud of the time Brendon served in the military.
Along the parade route.
Meanwhile, Cam was off celebrating her cousin David's wedding.  Here she is with Jim's mom, Grammy Pam.
Can you spot Cam?

Baby Bexlee

Sweet little family
We kept the kids overnight (the night/morning Bexlee was born) - When we went to bed, the last thing Payson said was, "When you get the text telling us our new sister has been born, WAKE ME UP!"  They were so excited to get down to the hospital the next morning.  It was pretty cute to see them interact with her.
She has ALOT of hair !
It looks like it's going to be curly too - much to Kacey's dismay.
Grandpa Roger loves her...........
So does Grandma Gwen :)
The kids just couldn't get enough :)
Wake up Bexlee
Showing them all about the burping business.
Payson loves his mama.  Every so often, you would find him on the bed, giving her a hug.  Kacey was sure tired, it was a LONG night......
What a wonderful time - a new baby !!

While they were packing and loading up in West Haven on Thursday evening, Erika and I went to the Eccles Theater in SLC to see The Sound Of Music.  It was awesome.  Thanks to Matt (my co-worker)  for the tickets !!
Here's a picture of the soon to be newest project down by the creek.
The Welch Ditch Diversion Dam is in dire need of renovation.  Zac will work with the ditch company, and get cement poured, and a new headgate installed.

Thatcher took part in Dr. Suess's birthday celebration at school on Friday.
